    Big picture, it's not going to sink this team, but there is a culture of players being handed roles on this team. Who's the Opening Day starter? Who's the closer? Who's the leadoff hitter? All you have to do is tell Dave what role you want and he will do his darndest to put you there. The tail is wagging the dog.

    Did you see it coming? I did. Couldn't stand the thought of guys like Adrian/etc. going to the FO to throw their support behind Roberts to get the job. Of course, they want the candy-ass.

    Not saying Kapler was a great option as the alternative, of course. But hell, they could've given it to Ibanez. WTF is Ibanez doing, anyway? He's Cuban and all of our Cubans have sucked and failed to live up to their hype/talent. Fuck is Ibanez good for? Racist. He's probably just lurking for whenever they give Roberts the axe

    Don't know that he told guys that he's the leader of the team as much as he called bums out for not getting after it. Or maybe he did verbalize it and say, " I'm the man in here. " Our clubhouse is that soft.

    I know that if I were Mookie - and I had been hearing all the talk..all the back and forth from guys on the team about the scandal - and I show up to Spring Training and MFs are loafing....
