Like the hair club for men. You are not only a member but an owner too!
I'm following the money after all of this.
everything is sound except the sounds the masses are listening to
dumping in on every dip
I'm grateful that my school will pay me ... but I know public school teachers who got pink slipped already this year. In normal years, those teachers get rehired over summer at a lesser salary. The concern this time is that the billions lost in other areas of industry will see those jobs NOT coming back.
I continue to assert that this flu won't cost many lives at all, far fewer than the 2018-19 flu did (34K per CDC).
But the fiscal cost of this mess ... judas ... this one is gonna hurt like hell for a lot longer than schools are closed or sports are cancelled.
and the talking heads will praise themselves when(ever) this all gets resolved
while never once addressing or acknowledging the collateral damage it caused
Or it may have been a trick to reset the market.
Take money out of circulation.
Kill all the surplus jobs and workers and pensioners.
Let the wealthy get out in front of those middle classes gaining on them.
By killing a bogey they put up high so everyone can see it in effigy as it's corona goes up in flames.
Oliver Stone and Michael Moore like this.
Friday the 13th.
Where were the richest people at.
What where they doing.
Who owns the most advanced hydronuclear powered mega yacht/ark in the universe?
Where was Bail Gates last night.
What does bail gates and coronavirus have in common?
okay, ill start...
- no one wants what either has to offer
- one is a virus, they other makes products that are vulnerable to them
Just got the SI baseball preview edition.
It sounds so anachronistic now.
Crazy how fast things have changed.
Either he hacked his way through IBM and Xerox to turn the locked down computer into a brothel for viruses.
But that's old news.
Last year he was using his philanthropy money to run a coronavirus pandemic simulator.
The solution to that computer game is 65 million dead.
Yay for population control to put a dent in the war against world hunger and poverty.
It's like if you are fighting a war against Satan... What do you do?
Do you wait him out and fight him face to face.
Or do you put your best analytics on the job and come up with a zero sum solution?
Because if you kill off all the sinners then Satan won't have anyone to temp and he will die on his own and we will live happily ever after as God heroes until we die.
And Satan goes super saiyan and comes back in his true red dragon form nuking everyone who thought he was dead.
I played that game already.
You gotta kill the dragon within.
Not try to destroy all the thralls around you.
That just makes you into a dragons pet.
Im sure this been asked and maybe answered, if they don't have a season, do players accrue a year service?
Uncharted waters. The only example close to this was the baseball strike that ended a season. But the rules were different then.
Could it be possible that this year gets canceled then Mookie is a free agent. Wouldn’t that be some shit
Wouldn't even care.
It's not like Mookie is Adrian Beltre or Mike Piazza. True Dodgers that we lost. It's cool to have a talented player like him to make the team better, but if we never see him play in Dodger Blue it's not going to feel like a loss to me.
If the Dodgers are playing I want them to win. If they're not playing, it's truly a vacation from pain not unlike the off-season.
I have to believe there will be some season to play. 162 games is too long anyway. Maybe this will force all leagues to rationalize their schedules. 162 and 82 games are just too long.
MLB is being very optimistic, thinking they will still get in 162. They want the TV revenue.
Not sure why people are speaking so matter-of-factly about half or the entire season being cancelled.
They're happy as pigs in shit because the Dodger " blockbuster" trade amounts to a hill of beans if cancelled.
And of course, the scumbag Asstros just sit back and let any anger or resentment dissipate into thin air.
Because baseball is just for sport.
Sports are to pass the time between wars.
Not during one.
