I have a feeling , Gallow gets one last hurrah. There's still Alberto, Crazy Joe and Miguel for the last playoff spots, unless Outman miracously appears.
Knowing Robots , Hanser will be definitely one, based on the fact he salivates over experience, although he hasn't hit well.
    Should be interesting.

other than cheering and closing blow outs hanser has been a zero contributor
last time i checked you don't get a job for being nice...at least not a playoff job

hanser and pillar can still cheerlead in the dugout
but (and despite me liking both of them) there are better options for postseason spots
that said, kimbrel and bickford can stay the fuck home
last thing we need is two cancerous pariahs upsetting the mojo

Uh...I didn't say he might be on the roster because he was "nice"... my point was with Roberts, experience goes a long long way, even over talent and results. What's logic got to do with Roberts ?
All year long we watched Kimbrel shit the bed, players have great games or series, then get sat and ride the pines.
Is Gallo not a prime example of this...regardless of better production from others ?

If he's into a hot RBI period, I sure hope so...I'm usually told that they're not not as important as, blah and blah, but if you get more RBIs than the other guy, you win...

Mets/Braves tied for the NL East after the Braves beat deGrom last night.

Who would you all prefer to face in the NLDS? The runner up for the NL East will be slotted in the 4-5 matchup and more than likely face the Padres. I would be pretty surprised if the Padres beat the Braves or Mets.

The Mets 1-2 punch of deGrom-Scherzer mixed with an elite closer is scary but the Braves have been on a tear in the 2nd half and have the much better lineup. Kind of a pick your poison situation....I think the NLDS will be a bigger hurdle for us than the NLCS.

Gallo simply can't have any high leverage ABs in the postseason. Nice little tryout but he failed. He has 51 Ks in 105 ABs as a Dodger and had 106 Ks in 233 ABs as a Yankee.

Not going to move runners over or get a sac fly. None of the little things with the guy. Hard pass

Agree on Gallo. My hopeful "love Jesus" side says Doc will leave Gallo off the roster. My dark-passenger pessimistic side says Gallo will GIDP in games 1&2 vs Hotlanta and LA watches the postseason from their living room.

I also pray that Taylor stays off the roster despite his uptick since last week. It's like indian summer. It's a fake out.

Taylor needs winter league ball to fix his broken. Sadly, he'll never do that. Today's White players don't do that. Herzog and Lasorda did. Guess how those guys turned out.

    bitter much?
go fuck yourself you wannabe gangsta

"A 60-game season, it's still hard to judge to this day. Like yeah, it's a World Series, right? Yeah, they got a ring. But they didn’t play any games at their home field. They didn't. There weren't any fans there. It was 60 games. Anyone could ball out for 60 games. That extra 102 is a big difference. They won it, it's a true one, for what we call it. But I still call it as I see it, it's still a 60-gamer."

Could give two shits what the Dollar Tree Post Malone has to say about anything.
He is bitter because he has to read and hear people constantly bash the Red Sox for trading a talent like Mookie for a weak ass return.

Dugo can't hold Mookie's jockstrap.....but if he did, it'd be the closest he's ever been to greatness.

He's wrong because it's all relativism. Every other team in the league have the same opportunities as they have.

Qualifying LA's 2020 Championship is like doing the same thing to the Astros in 2017. It doesn't make any difference because nothing changes. Teams can cheat or play fewer games or players can pump themselves full of steroids or MLB can politicize gameplay ... but it doesn't change it. The winners aren't losers on the Bluetooth win.

So critics of 2020 can jerk off all they want to the qualifications of this or that season, but none of it makes any difference.

Verdugo is a product of the modern era, which means he's a pussy, basing his criticisms on his own exclusion. What... he's the first guy to get traded away from a team that wound up wi ning without him? You could fill field level at Dodger Stadium with players in that situation.

I have been ripshit critical of this Dodger team & MLB for three years now. And while I'm not exactly thrilled to see this damaged game advance as it has into this ridiculous playoff format, I have enjoyed watching this Dodger team win this many games and establish themselves as one of the best regular season teams in modern history.

If LA wins the title this year, Verdugo will be as forgotten as his career already has been. The fact is --- he was supposed to be the second coming of Ted Williams, and he has certainly done better than average, and the Red Sox seem to be happy with him, yet he's barely one-twentieth of what Betts is.

If they lose, he's still Alex Verdugo. He'll still be a twat.

So suck it, Verdugo. And ANYONE who minimizes 2020 for LA is a douchebqg. The team won it. The End. Take issue with the BLM posturing. I get that. I certainly did. But if you criticize that rip the 81 title too. And rip anyvtwam in the steroids era or before Jackie broke the barrier.
