    Today in 1955 ... when @Bluezoo was just retired & @fsudog21 lost his virginity to a tube sock ... (Ok. So it was tomorrow on this date. But I hear Vin in that clip & it makes me happy so I posted it early)

    The Brooklyn Dodgers won their first World Series with Johnny Podres blanking the Yankees 2-0 in the seventh game.

    Yes, very lame. And don't think I'm praising the Mutts. I just think SD is waaaaay overrated. As for the NYM, the east coast media so badly wants that team to be better than they aren't.

    I foresee a rematch of 2017. MLB doesn't want that because it'll be a ratings nightmare. They absolutely want a Dodgers-Yankees WS.

    Meanwhile ... We all know all too well how likely an early playoff exit can happen with a Roberts managed team.

    I think Judge is OK. I hope he gets a fat contract. Seems like a nice kid.
