Noah Camras@noahcamras According to ESPN's Kiley McDaniel, there are "indications pointing" to Roki Sasaki being posted this offseason. He also says the Dodgers are "heavily favored" to land him. If it happens, the Dodgers rotation would have Shohei Ohtani, Yoshinobu Yamamoto and Roki Sasaki. 10:59 AM · Nov 5, 2024 · 257.7K Views .
Makes sense ... another star Japanese player makes Sho & Yoshi comfier & Dodger merch to sell more there and here.
Btw ... official Dodger WS t-shirts are pricey... $40 !?! Whatever happened to those Black guys in the traffic jam post-game selling these for ten bucks?
what in the actual fuck? unless they’re planning on making shohei an outfielder, this makes zero sense even if they re-sign teoscar or (god forbid) sign soto, the only other outfielders on the roster are edman, pages, taylor and outman Dodgers general manager Brandon Gomes spoke to members of the media at the general manager meetings, including Joel Sherman of The New York Post and Bob Nightengale of USA Today. Gomes relayed that the Dodgers are probably going to have Mookie Betts move back to the infield, either at shortstop or second base.
only saw 3 guys on a street by myself walking toward me w their arms full at like 530 in the am and said "go Dodgers" as we passed no way i was opening my wallet on a dark LA street and i figured i'd see more but i never did everything is sold on MLB.com so i'm guessing they're on it cause i sure remember merch being on every corner was at the Hollywood bowl for a Cure show and knew the beer inside was $25 a pop so i chilled w my buddy and drank a $5 beer chatting w them suddenly LAPD rolled up and took all the beer...guess its who you know but for real something has changed in the world of street merchandise
blackbirds have a special enzyme in their saliva that makes necrotic tissue of carrion into edible meat devoid of impurities prophets are fed by blackbirds bringing meat to them in the wilderness the blackbirds are coming home to roost
I think it says more about Lux. Teo's best position is reportedly RF. Might mean the Dodgers are serious about bringing him back. I hope so.
definitely have a different perspective as a former employer...i mean technically i still am but don't have to deal w employees but depending on a given day the loss of a valuable person can be devastating not only monetarily but reputation wise as fun as it was to be at that parade it wasn't like a chance to be at a game would be i think most employers would get that but a parade?
having a boss is like being behind bars you have chosen to give up your rights for a compromise and if you are british the two words sound like they are pronounced the same way you have to go to bed early because of the boss/bars that live in your head the boss/bars wont allow you to go hang out late at night because you have to be fresh and sober for work in the morning therefore the boss/bars determines if you are gonna go to this or that party or game or parade for a variety of reasons reasons that the boss never even has to know or be made aware of the boss never has to directly micromanage your life we create the mental bars in our life to ensure the boss (bars guard) is happy and thats just one of the bosses why would people sell themselves to slavery? for love you dont love the slavery obviously but you love someone enough that it is worth being a slave so they wont have to takes a special kind of guy to sell himself into living with bars in order so others he loves can be free usually thats called a dad
yeah and that guy looks out for you and your family as well if its anything family or crisis related that's a whole different story because a boss is making sure the host survives to supply everyone employed and their families that was always priority one and i just hated lame excuses like Monday man up and accept responsibility and everything that goes w it if nothing is going on that day and things can be adjusted or moved around go have fun but if major commitments have been made and you're a key part and i see you standing in a sports parade... guess that makes me a dick
exactly... we all dicks but some dicks are too hard and some dicks dont get hard enough both extremes are bad bosses one is not efficient and the other is too efficient both dominated by their nervous system tree in which judgements of good and evil are made by a fiery electrical impulse better to be a grower than a shower and be guided by the blood system tree of life... not every boss that imprisons a dragon and invites you into the dragon scale selling business is a good boss even if the scales are used to make shields to cover the backs of warriors even if the boss lets you drink from the powerful milk of the red dragons teat some bosses would rather kill the dragon than let one of the slaves discover the secret precious family jewels of the beast lest the good slave... a bad boss makes work a living hell an the owner of a hell starts to look heavy and fat like a dragon overburdened by the weight of its thick scales and curdling blood instead of being the source of milk and honey for his slaves and the cool breeze that delivers the mana in the morning and the warm breath that fires your furnace in the evening a good boss makes a good slave want to get into the dragon slaying business to earn the type of wings the good boss uses to meet the dragon eye to eye a bad boss makes a good slave into a bad slave and a bad slave bides his time... ive worked for bosses that would keep you in chains after hours in a windowless warehouse if communism was legal they just need someone to tell them they wont get in trouble for it and they will do it because its in their heart to be a tyrant a dick thats too hard will eventually kill the dragon in the attempt to squeeze too much profit by too much efficiency the type of efficiency that comes from not caring about your human capital and if you dont care about your slaves... for instance i dont mind being called a servant while i serve it can eve be a funny in joke between boss and slave ive seen it a few times at business ive been employed to serve in that 'yes im a dictator but im the coolest dictator ever' shtick that Bukele has in ES but if i see the boss treat a slave like a slave, look at a slave like a slave, talk about a slave like a slave... el salvador has a habit of electing cool dictators then the cool dictator grows up or the population does and the cumbia doesnt have that same swing anymore but now every man has been exposed to that kind of boss style making many men wants to be like that kind of boss and have that style which makes few men want to act like moses did to the egyptian bosses salvadorians have more than one habit...
Mike Rodriguez@mikedeportes According to my sources, the #Mets have made an offer of over $160 million for a period of 7 years to Willy Adames. Their intention is for him to play third base; however, Adames is not convinced, as he prefers to continue in the shortstop position. He has not made a decision yet, and so far, he also has a proposal from the Dodgers. #Mets#Dodgers#WillyAdames 1:31 PM · Nov 7, 2024 · 1M Views .
^ related story? Kiké Hernández removes Dodgers from Social Media Profile by Valentina Martinez | DodgersNation — 7 November 2024 The rollercoaster offseason has officially begun for Los Angeles Dodgers utility man Kiké Hernández. The free agent has announced his official status this winter with a change in his profile picture. Originally, Hernández’s profile picture was a headshot of himself with a Dodgers hat on. Now, Hernández has a question mark on his hat. It signals that the utility man’s future with Los Angeles remains uncertain as he enters free agency. However, he did urge fans to tell the front office that he wanted to return. At a Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers partnership event, Hernández revealed he is anxious to return to the Dodgers for the 2025 season. “I really hope I am back next year,” Hernández said, “so make sure you talk to (Andrew) Friedman and those guys and let them know. Hernández believes that the Dodgers will be an even better team next season as the pitching staff gets reinforcements. However, the utility man’s future with the Dodgers is still up in the air. “It’s hard to not think about it, about what can happen next year,” Hernández said. “Obviously, being a free agent at the time I wouldn’t say I’m unemployed because I’m here working at Raising Canes today. I would love to be back. We won the World Series a few days ago, but I truly believe this team is going to be better next year with all the pitching reinforcements. It’s going to be some really exciting times in LA next year.” The Dodgers have several tough decisions to make regarding players who are now free agents this winter. Along with Hernández, Walker Buehler, Jack Flaherty, Teoscar Hernández, Blake Treinen, and Joe Kelly are also free agents this offseason. President of baseball operations Andrew Friedman and general manager Brandon Gomes will have to decide whether to keep or let go of a number of fan favorites. The front office will also have to decide whether to go after highly-touted free agents such as Willy Adames or Juan Soto. Adames or Soto would be a huge addition to the team, but the departure of fan favorites like Hernández would also be a tough loss. .
Ugh, why is Soto still being mentioned as an option? I don't hate the guy like I do Machado, but even with all that he brings offensively, I feel it would be a net negative. Both defensively plus from the standpoint that the money would be better spent on Teo, Walker, Treinen or even Fried.
