So far, not so good for Buehler. After a disastrous outing last night in Anaheim, he's sporting a 6.29 ERA and a 1.57 WHIP.

Wish no ill will towards Buehler. He was a bulldog for the Dodgers.

Tuned in to root for him last night and had to turn it off in the first inning. Too painful to watch him struggle that badly.

I heard a podcaster claim that he had severe shoulder pain when he took the team to a college world series win .... he took no breaks and had no surgery at that point... have to wonder how much long-term damage that caused. But he was so competitive there was no way he'd sit down with a title on the line.

when i heard him say he was ready to talk long term w bahstan early on it sure sounded like "let me get what i can while its still working" kind of plea
he knows his magic is waning and wanted to secure his best deal for his family
has to be a hard spot to find yourself in as a professional used to being among the top in the game at your position
hope his ego will allow himself to consider relief but he doesn't sound like he's willing to let that dream go just yet
if he was dfa'd and available i would hope LA would give him another shot to be a part of the team
provided he was willing to accept a role in the pen of course

There are 45 outfielders on the NL ASG ballot, and among them Conforto has the 45th highest batting average, yet the last I heard he's received the 16th most votes at the position. Now on one hand, who cares, it's not like #16 means anything. But on the other hand, who's voting for him?!? Maybe Dodger fans are stuffing the ballot boxes, but why would they vote for Conforto knowing that he's been a big nothing at the plate all year? I sure as hell wouldn't want him there.

Then again, I don't really want any Dodger players there. As I say every year, I'd rather they use the time to rest up for the second part of the season.

I'm telling you, Dodger players read this site and Conforto is the latest proof.

Would you want Mariachi Joe back?

I don't know. He was pretty frustrating to watch last year, and his comments about NYY after the WS don't help. But this parade of stiffs that the team keeps signing this season is even worse. Maybe if the shoulder inflammation improves, they can give him another shot but he'd have to prove that he still belongs.

i was figuring he'd be back at some point as much as he's around and given his continued desire to only play for the Dodgers
wouldn't be surprised if they were paying him something to get back out there

#Dodgers have won 9 of last 11 games with their MVP's Ohtani-Betts-Freeman hitting a combined .220. That's scary for the rest of the league.

I think we should try to get Dollander from the Rox...offer them some kids from the MiL
I think he has a lot of potential, and with LA coaching, it could come to fruition.
I suggested the same about Crochet, but no one listens to me.
    So never mind.

i thought all the young arms looked good for CO this series but Dollander has that thing for sure
not sure of his contract situation but it seems he's young and likely the last arm they want to part with

Since May 31, the @Dodgers' Max Muncy has:
    ★ 3 games with 6+ RBI
    ★ 3 multi-HR games
    ★ 2 games with 7+ RBI

The only other player in MLB history to do all of that over an entire season was Jimmie Foxx during his 1938 MVP campaign.
