Pepiot getting the opening day nod for the Rays. And he delivered, literally and figuratively. Good for the kid.

Interesting to see that Lux is Cincy's cleanup hitter. What do they know? (Or maybe what don't they know?)

    • Dodger Stadium wasn’t the only place that Nancy Bea Hefley performed. For over 55 years, she played the organ at Bellflower Baptist Church. This is where she met her husband, Bill, who would later go on to be one of the construction workers who helped build Dodger Stadium in 1962.

    Nancy>Dieter

Dieter is a little cutesy. Nancy B was meat and potatoes ballpark music.

I don't know how to speak in musical terms, but Nancy's organ sounded different (better). "It's A Beautiful Day for a Ballgame" by Nancy is on YouTube. Instant nostalgia.

Nancy did cute stuff once in a while. I remember she played "A Pirates Life for Me" when Pittsburgh's lineup was being announced.

Dylan Hernández would be blowing hobos for jukebox nickels if that fish wrap newspaper didn't hire him to employ a token Latinx.

Decent outing today for Bobby Miller with OKC. 4.2 innings pitched, 2 hits, 2 walks, no runs... 4 K's. It took him 78 pitches to get through that, which he continues to need to tighten up. Overall, his outing is something to build off of.

Meanwhile they have Kim in CF. Could that be foretelling of their eventual plans for him (and for Pages)?

Coming from Korean ball is even more of a difficult transition than coming from Japanese ball...
We'll be watching Kim sooner or later...but I don't think he's ever going to have the power potential Andy's got...uh-uh.
If it's a direct competition between these two, this is a tough one right now. But of course, it may not be an either/ or situation.
I think it's between Kim and Muncy...
    Just kidding !
