    maybe the phils gave him a chance to possibly start?
    from what i'm reading teams opportunity to sign a released player goes based on current won/loss records so the Dodgers would have had priority if they had wanted him
    i mean there is still a month of season and injuries can happen not to mention guys like yates aren't exactly impressing from the rh relievers

    Dont want Buehler. He had some good innings in the post last year but has been garbage for a long time outside of that.

    Crazy how far he's fallen and it just makes Kershaw look even more incredible. 18 years of dominance whereas some guys are a flash in the pan.

    Big difference between the two is Buehler has had two TJs. Kershaw has never had a major arm injury.

    you're probably right and last year was the last gasp
    but ho much effort does it take to stash him in AAA just in case?
    bring him in to do Joe Kelly damage to a ribcage or something

    The Dodgers have activated RHP Michael Kopech and IF/OF Hyeseong Kim from the injured list and added both to the active roster.

    Roberts says it's "a competition and focus issue," just like Henriquez. Basically that they're not as focused in AAA. He may have a point with Henriquez... not good numbers this year in OKC, but lights out so far for the Dodgers.

    kid asked me earlier if i was worried about sd and i said nah its philly
    if they don't get that first round bye i think its likely a first round to a hot team like az suddenly sprinting for the finish

    Well, August has come and gone, and playoff roster eligibility is now locked in. Looks like we're stuck with ConfortNo. I mean, there are options with Call, Kike, or Pages (Edman/Kim in CF), but there won't be any signings, trades, or call ups to save the day. I hope the hand that we've been dealt proves to be good enough.
