    • Tanner Scott admits expectations of his four-year, $72 million contract have affected his performance this season.
yeah must really stress you out to have (roughly) $350K deposited into your bank account every week

there needs to be a charity for rich entertainers with anxiety issues to give their money away to alleviate themselves of the burden
a charity that helps out their fans who are in dire straits
now i gotta think of a solution to this problem
how to get young up and coming bands and athletes and other entertainers to pledge a tithe from their earnings to help the base of the movement stay fresh and evergreen
so that when they then make it big they are already bought into the idea that money corrupts and its best to get rid of it as fast as it comes in

I would say that when Clowny makes up ths post seazon roster, he needs to leave Yates and Trenen off of it. They both could teach Amber Heard a whole bunch of technique about shitting the bed. Never have seen the relentless failures like these two vome up with. And Scott islurking in the shadows, too...but he won't leave them off, I don't believe.
It stands to reason we won't score as many runs as we have been in recent games...never can tell when they might be put down inning after inning by someone we never heard of, just like today.
And with guys like Yates, Treinen, and even Scott, if they're in a save or critical situation, do we stand much of a chance with these proven fuck ups ?
Should be interesting what they come up with...

Casparius over Yates everyday of the week but Scott is not going anywhere and doofus will bring himup in the perfect situation to prove himself

Definitely leave Yates off the roster as well as Kopech. I'm not ready to say that about Treinen but got to be careful with him this final week - don't use him in a key spot until he proves control. I can't trust Sasaki for this year... he should be targeting opening roster 2026. Three guys I'd bring up before Roki: Stewart, Heaney, and Hurt.

Forgot totally about Kopech...he's bases loaded waiting to happen.
I have little, very little, faith in Treinen. His video game pitches still seem to be there, but for some reason, no longer befuddle hitters as the did in the past. When it's not explained by Orel, who is positively a kinesiologist in his knowledge, then it must be simply a mystery. Maybe he's lost velocity ?
Fool me once, shame on you....fool me twice, shame on me ? Looks like the guy who was once nails turned into a paper clip. I don't get.it, but seeing is believing. That Sheehan game was pathetic.
I will be looking with a jaundiced eye when he's on the bump.
    Hope I'm wrong.

    Per MLB...
    @Bluezoo @lastatman @jpldodgers

Major League Baseball will implement a challenge system for balls and strikes in the 2026 season after the league’s competition committee voted to usher in the era of robot umpiring. Teams will receive two challenges to dispute calls by the home-plate umpire.026 season after the league’s competition committee voted to usher in the era of robot umpiring. Teams will receive two challenges to dispute calls by the home-plate umpire.

Meanwhile, some of these refs require a dozen challenges to undo their fuckery.

It's not enough in this time where the tech should be utilized the whole game, but I do say:

    roberts on Kim…
    • “I don’t feel comfortable with [Kim] versus left-handed pitching. Balls that are going away from him, I think with Hyeseong, I love the defense. … This is his first year in the major leagues and I think he’s done a great job. I think right now for him, there’s too much chase out of the hitting zone and there’s not enough contact. So for me, when you chase a lot and you don’t make a lot of contact, that is not a good spot for the postseason. I think he’s going to be a very good player. He’s helped us out a lot this year. I just think that there’s a lot more growth as a major-league hitter that needs to happen. There’s not enough walk in there, again, because there’s a lot of chase. He’s growing. He’s going to get better. But I think right now (when it comes to playing time) I’ve got to think about guys that I feel that can handle postseason pitching. But I think that this experience for Hyeseong to be on the club, to be in a pennant race, I think this is going to help him going forward.”
