    True enough ... but Dad told me he did plunk a few guys. I think that when Drysdale is your comparison, you can plunk 10 batters a month & still be a distant 2nd to him ...

    Kazuma will be interesting... guy has been nails in Nippon but he'll be 30 in June. Any team signing him will need to sign him for 4 years ... that's a big invest for a guy in that age group. 20 mil a year? Maybe more?

    @DMAC_LA
    @JonHeyman said the Dodgers have checked in on Bo Bichette. If the Dodgers are going to sign one of the remaining big-name free agent position players, Bichette is the play.
    Bichette > Tucker > Bellinger.

    bo and cody won’t sign before tucker
    once tucker signs, everyone who missed out will go all in on bo and cody
    my prediction… tucker to the jays, cody (back) to NYY, bo to LA

    @DodgersNation
    The Dodgers remain in the mix for BOTH Kyle Tucker and Cody Bellinger as we are an estimated 6 weeks away from Spring Training, according to Mark Feinsand.
    It's a new year... does LA have another big splash in them before it's time to get ready for another season?

    yesterday it was tucker and bo
    today it’s tucker and cody
    never been a huge fan of dodgersnation, but sometimes they’ll get it right before everyone else
    but until then i could really do without the shameless hack clickbait bs

    So much clickbait these days, it's really annoying.

    Still prefer they pass on both of the outfielders. Bichette could be good get, but to me would signal that management is no longer high on Kim.

    or maybe they’ll give kim more opportunities all over the field this year, then next year move him to 2b and bo to 3b to take muncy’s spot

    • Earlier this offseason, Scott Boras said that Tatsuya Imai was as accomplished as Yoshinobu Yamamoto and claimed Imai had done as much in NPB as Yamamoto.
    oh really?…

    Borass is a vile pos. He manipulated two friends of mine at Serra HS in Capistrano. I know him to be a truly bad human being.

    Anyway ... good luck to this other guy but Yoshi is legend now. Eff off to any who deny his studness (yeah homo)

    may explain why the jays have been quiet on the bichette front
    not sure if this means they’re necessarily out on him and/or tucker

    The Okamoto signing is not nothing
    Have to imagine this slightly increases the Dodgers' chances of signing either Kyle Tucker or Bo Bichette

    I'm hearing more chatter about Cody maybe returning to LA. IMO, that would be a mistake that would dwarf the Conforto flub. First, Conforto was a one-year commitment. Bellinger wants seven but apparently is willing to settle for five. Second, Dodgers stadium doesn't have a short porch in right, so to expect that he repeats his 29 HRs from last year is a pipe dream. Fans that don't know better think he'll come back and magically reincarnate his 2019 season with the 8.1 WAR while ignoring that over has final two Dodger seasons he had a cumulative negative WAR. And lastly, there's got to be at least one or two from the group of outfield prospects that will make the leap in the next year or two. Do we really want them blocked by a hefty contract commitment to Bellinger for five years? I hope the decision makers factor all this in and opt to leave the Blue chapter in Bellinger's storybook closed.
