    Love that Tucker has done really well vs lefties

    Can't automatically bring one in to neutralize him

    Tucker's OPS vs lefties:

    2025-.826
    2024-.840
    2023-.934

    @spotrac
    The #Dodgers finished 2025 with a $417M tax payroll, which led to a $169M tax bill, that combined for $586M in total payment.

    The 2026 Dodgers now project to a $413M tax payroll, which would lead to a $162M tax bill, that combines for $575M in total.

    so (if this^ is right) we’ve actually lowered payroll from last year but we’re still ruining baseball
    hilarious

    @DanClarkSports
    The difference between the Dodgers and Mets both dropping huge amounts of cash, is that one ballclub is a well-oiled, success-generating machine, and the other is a dumpster fire historically plagued by poor culture and failure.

    @DodgersTailgate
    Per @Ken_Rosenthal, regardless of singing Kyle Tucker, the Dodgers intend to keep Teoscar Hernandez. Instead they could shop Ryan Ward and Bobby Miller.

    Only ability lacking Tucker's game the past two years is availability. Dodgers have been through this shit for years with their pitchers. Rather not go through it with their new RF.

    Hopefully Tuxker works out. Nuff said.

    My Da saw Dixie AND Skoonj play right for Brooklyn. When he watched Clemente ... he said he'd seen the best, just ahead of those two.

    Long-time Dodger devotees have a deep catalog of stars to cross-compare. Tucker needs to take care to stay healthy & uninjured. Just do that - the talent is there.

    The great Clemente was my favorite non-Dodger.

    Among Dodger RFs, I favored Reggie Smith. Very talented, but also played with an edge. Reggie gave zero fucks.

    Don Sutton likes this. Wasn't the scuffle with Garvey over Sutton's comments to a reporter that Smith was the Dodgers best hitter?

    Didn't recall that but Sutton sure hated Garvey. Of course, Sutton was a social leper himself.

    Carl Furillo feels under appreciated.

    @InfiniteDodger
    Idk if the interest will be the same on the Dodgers side... but between this clip showing mutual admiration between Ohtani and De La Cruz, the "my city" quote about how much Elly likes LA, and Elly's friendship with De Paula, it's clear he's interested.

    @DMAC_LA
    The Dodgers aren't "RUINING" baseball, they are RUNNING baseball. Everything they're doing is within the rules. TV Ratings are up, attendance is up. Baseball is more relevant now than it's been in decades, and it's mostly thanks to the Los Angeles Dodgers.

    I mentioned Furrilo. My Da called him Skoonj ... I think that's short for skoongeel (sp?) in Italian... means sea snail. Scully told that story many times.

    SOURCE: The #Dodgers strongly pushing for All-Star Freddy Peralta on trade market. The talks are becoming increasingly intense.

    Astros fans saying the Dodgers are “ruining baseball” is peak hypocrisy - this from the franchise that ran a top-to-bottom, org-wide cheating scheme that corrupted history books and permanently stained the sport.
