Dodgers team this year was for the most part comprised of a bunch of guys who wanted to be here over any other team. Here's where I draw the line on Tucker. If the Dodgers have to outspend every team in order to ink him, I don't want him. OTOH, if he's willing to sign for less than he can get elsewhere, to play for a team with a good vibe, great fans, and an excellent chance of winning another championship, then by all means do it.

This is the most important aspect
Anybody who doesn't want to be here does not belong here
Especially at the price tag he will command

The more I look at Kyle Tucker's stats the more I want this guy on our team
He is as consistent as they come (at a very good level)
With men in scoring position during a down year, 2025, for him: .267/.407/.457 for an OPS of .865
    OPS with men in scoring position in previous years — 2024: .968, 2023: 1.037, 2022: .934, 2021: .836, 2020: .990

    Oh 100%
He's just a hardcore BB guy I met 20 years ago in CR that I keep contact w on a Whatsapp thread w 4 other people
He can quote stats and info on the Dodgers before we see it on a daily basis
Had him on DSP for a minute but he didn't stick
Absolutely just another fan like any of us but a solid perspective guy
This WS after game 5 I was going off and he called me out on it
Watched every minute of the playoffs right along with us and hates Davey too lol
Probably speaks more to my myopic status but tbh I barely knew who Tucker was until this year
Ties to the asstros make him less desirable for me

if he wants to come here (ie: win) he’ll agree to defer money
if not, let him go be juan soto 2.0 on some loser team

Diaz to our Bums, huh? Interesting... not sure if I like that but wtf do I know? I was CONVINCED this team would flunk October....

Alonso to Frisco makes sense. City of Twats adds another twat. No surprise.

Schwarber in Arlington? He may hit 70 homers there alone.

    agreed
and sometimes even <10 can come back to bite…

    @DanClarkSports
    Anthony Rendon is now 35-years-old.
He has missed 605 of 810 games in the last five seasons through injury.
In the 205 games he has played, he has an OPS of just .666.
He is projected to be the highest paid third baseman in 2026, at $38.6 million.

Ben Rortvedt DFA'd and claimed off waivers by the Reds
Ben could not have been sent down to AAA

makes a fan wonder how AF and the FO missed so badly on his clearly massive character flaws?
iirc they were in big time on him although perhaps the Dodgers offer was significantly less than he thought he was worth sparking his insipid comments
no way his work ethic and professional motivations are anywhere close to what the team has become

I'm also thinking Diaz since they had his brother. It would be insane if Alonso could play 3rd or 2nd. Flippy-flop with Muncy (no homo) and Edman to the OF.

The offense would be beyond stupid!
