    Sasaki was probably trying new stuff
    guys hitting the ball just means timing is there even if its against less than MLB pitching
    not thinking anyones worrying about wins/losses any more than they would be if it was an 0-7 ST start
    imo its the AAA squad performing like it matters and showing their talent atm

    definitely not just you bro
    spring training records mean little since the games are often decided by guys who won’t be around come opening day
    that said, winning is better than losing and a couple times our B players have competed against teams playing a lot of their regulars
    our pitching has looked really good for the most part which is surprising since guys are usually working on location or a specific pitch (case and point with yama today)
    so i focus more on the individual accomplishments more than the W’s
    especially since no one has ever won the division in spring training

    side note: why hasn’t mookie played yet?

    versus Great Britain
    with a pitch count limit of 55
    and he'll leave the team immediately after pitching against GB to go back to Detroit's spring training

    Obviously too early to jump to any conclusions, but this is reminding me a whole lot of last year. Hopefully he's just experimenting with pitches, working out some kinks, etc. But I've got to say I sure am glad we have Ryan - and assuming the shoulder tightness isn't serious - Stone waiting in the wings.
