@DanClarkSports It's time to boot the Miami Marlins out of Major League Baseball. To pull just 10,160 fans to their second game of the season on Opening Weekend is an absolute disgrace!
Idk....just seemed they were blacked out on MLBTV, but it doesn't say it is toninght. We'll see. Or not.
one last add dodgers get more fans at a game — any game — than the marlins do in a week yet somehow we’re the ones ruining baseball i’d probably be a little more sympathetic if these other owners actually opened their wallets, but since they don’t idgaf

He really stands out from the rest. (Wow, racist!) Seriously though, I know historically MLB umps have been allowed to establish their own strike zone, with the implied requirement that they call it consistently and for both teams. There have always been those with a wide zone, or more likely to call strikes on pitches slightly above the letters. Pitchers and hitters would learn the tendencies of the various umps and try to adjust accordingly. But the ABS system does two things. First, it will produce stats like the one above that will clearly show which umps are not able to accurately make the right call per the official zone. Second, the ones that consistently make wrong calls will in a way be made an example of via the challenge system. Nobody is going to want their calls to be frequently overruled. So they'll have to adjust. Or I wonder if they don't, will the league have them on a short leash?
https://www.si.com/mlb/cardinals/on...g-comment-after-awful-st-louis-debut-jackson3 I think Dodgers would have improved by just giving him away, but instead Friedman got Tibbs and Ehrhard, lol.
It took until the seventh inning of only his third game with the New York Mets for Bo Bichette to hear boos from the home crowd at Citi Field for the first time. appears we dodged a bullet

dude needs to be fired @JomboyMedia CB Bucknor strikes again, this time saying the runner did not touch first base. He very clearly did. Video: HERE
That's crazy. He wasn't even looking at the bag as the announcers noted. So if you miss the play, wouldn't your assumption be that he touched the bag instead of missing it? I mean, just play the odds at that point.
