ESPN wasn't bad in the beginning, but it evolved into a place where the mods ruled with an iron fist. Posts, nay entire threads, disappeared without so much as a puff of smoke. And many, many of them were innocent fun or prankish in nature. It got so bad that it eventually caused it's own demise. I think Koufax is relating merging of threads to that type of censorship, which IMO isn't as bad, but a bit maddening just the same. Anyway, posters left there in droves, as did I. I found another home for a good while, but returned to ESPN because I valued posters like Knock, lastat, and others. Hell, I even value Koufax even though we are not cut from the same bolt of cloth, or leather as the case may be. Finally when they closed the place everyone had to find a new home, DSP was my second home. My primary refuge became obnoxious so I moved here permanently (or until I get banned.)

I don't get this post. When someone like Koufax threatens to leave, why try to talk him out of it? You'd prefer he stays? C'mon, irish. I think that's just you disagreeing with his drama-queen comments and over compensating by being extra nice. There are two posters on here I wouldn't mind seeing gone, if Koufax left there'd only be one. Besides, like an 8-year-old threatening to run away, Koufax aint going anywhere. And if it is true he's "tired of this shit" then for the love of god don't talk him out of it.
He's one who would definitely seek out and pay for a plastic surgeon, the cKunt. I remember when Brett Butler called him out for being a self-centered prima dona back in the day and caught hell for it. He has also shown lots of class since by not saying "I told you so" after being proven right....
