Just recruit Koufax and make him the star of your podcast.

    Great idea, right?

Clancy Brown... has had a long career, and still working pretty well.
He was Satan, or a demon of some hellish sorts in HBO's "Carnivale"...anyone remenber that? With the dwarf from "Twin Peaks " as one of the main stars...very odd but compelling series. I always waited for the traditional "blow off" (no homo) from the hoochie coochie girls at the end of their bit.
You don't see many dramas based on America's entertainment during the depression, especially set in the Dust Bowl.

Bummer....Pedro was classed at one time, as "the most feared hitter in the NL"...hope he recovers. What is he, only in his mid 60's or so?

And was sadly quite the illiterate. Poor guy.

Gibby got him traded. We won the World Series............ Haven't sniffed it since. (No pun intended)

    Best wishes 'Pete' Guerrero.

I remember being in the T deck during game six when Clark hit that bomb off Niedenfuer. Pedro looked up, turned to watch the ball and threw his glove to ground. He was pissed! As we all were.

    Crushing loss.

Back in the day, I was at Shea Stadium with my kid, in good 3rd baseline seats, first row. I was screaming at Pedro, "look alive Pedro-it's coming to you now...be ready for a hot one coming your way"! He looked over and shook his head...next pitch,a screamer at his feet that rolled up his shoulder and down the RF line for a two base error.
I shut up for rest of the game.

Shit, didn't we all ? Difference was; he could easily afford it.
I was a pretty good hitter though...
Poor Pedro...I hope he winds up OK. Some people have a stroke, and they are like ol' Kirk Douglas with the aphasia.
Some have one, and are like Sharon Stone.
