Kasich was always my dark horse but i guess we find out tomorrow if he has any wheels
As far as incendiary rhetoric how about
"they bring a knife and we bring a gun"
    "hit back twice as hard"
"argue w neighbors, get in their faces"
all direct BO quotes not to mention little things like the DOJ looking into arresting climate change deniers, using the IRS to ... ah that was years ago right?
but its hardly just Trump using violent statements to make his point although it is the first time i recall any of the pussy right doing it

It really has been a perfect storm for him. Given that none of the Republican candidates have been particularly inspiring to a broad segment of the party, the vote has consistently been splintered three-ways: between the Cruz supporters, Trump supporters, and Establishment supporters (Kasich, Rubio, Bush, Christie, etc.). Each appeals to a different faction of the Republican party: Cruz, e.g., to the evangelicals and far-right; and so on. This helps Trump tremendously, as most exit polls show Cruz and Rubio beating Trump in one-on-one match ups.

If Rubio loses to Trump in Florida tomorrow, I think he likely drops out (at this point, it's unlikely he'll win Florida). He's already told his supporters to support Kasich in Ohio, and most polls show that he should win narrowly there. The guy who basically wrote the rules on the Republican delegate math says that Trump more or less needs an Ohio win tomorrow to gain the requisite number of votes for a nomination. If he doesn't, then the NYT has a fairly good graphic on how a contested convention would go down (basically, each round, more delegates are "unlocked" and the delegates in that state are free to vote for whomever they want; if a candidate receives a majority then he wins the nomination). Of course, the GOP can simply rewrite the rules too. Even if Trump doesn't win the nomination, but has a clear delegate lead, there's certainly going to be a lot of uproar if the GOP hands it to someone else.

I know I'm rambling, but Illinois and Missouri can also effectively act as winner takes all states. I'm not as familiar with the rules surrounding Missouri, but in Illinois the winner of each congressional district wins the delegates in that congressional district (along with some statewide delegate winners). So a large enough victory by Trump across the state could actually net him almost all, or all of the delegates.

just because we don't agree on things, especially political, does not mean we are not good people deserving of respect

It was a quote from a movie and yes he said it but do you really think he was serious??? Have you heard ANYTHING Donald has said that you didn't believe he TRULY felt that way??? This was 2008 by the way so not exactly last week or yesterday or the day before that and oh tomorrow when Donald steps in it again. If I didn't know any better I'd think you were a Trump apologist but I have come to know you a little better even though we have differing opinions I am guessing you don't but, PLEASE tell me you don't support that poor excuse for a human being.

I'm just bearing witness same as you but 20 trillion in debt is devastating for the children of this country
Washington has no answers and no of course he's not the guy I hoped for but if you are calling him a poor excuse for a human being then what do you call Hillary?
I think I have said plenty of negative things about Trump and repubs and politicians in general
Ime liberals tend to cling to the fact that their guy/thing is different and not a part of the machine
Ive contended for a good 12 years they are one and the same and anyone who can't see that now is experiencing cognitive dissonance

Sorry have to keep harping on your comparison of the 2 people but you cannot be serious!! Apples and Oranges, the only 2 things they have in common is that they are white and they are 1 and 2 of the most hated candidates but for vastly different reasons. Trump is a racist, not the only one saying it and Hillary has the support of the vast majority of minorities. I don't fathom how you can compare the 2 but I'll stop trying to convince you because obviously you have your opinion. Good talk but I am out!!

One last volley at any Trump supporter.

Well, Bengazi is way more than a skin condittion...especially to the families that are sitting down at the dinner table without dad now. I don't know exactly where the "absolution" came from as you state, but it is a shameful episode within the framework of responsibilty to those who serve our country, nevertheless, and always will be.
When her defenders bring up " oh, that was a while ago", I find it infuriating.

Honestly, it's just Trump fucking over the landscape. Besides that, everything else is business as usual.

The Democrats have what I believe are 2 good candidates, but even if you don't like them they aren't wildly different than any other election year. Clinton ran 8 years ago, so nothing different there. Sanders is arguably the most genuine but also the most liberal candidate I've ever seen make it this far.

The Republicans are pretty much the same as always outside of Trump. Cruz is the token ultra-conservative. Kasich is actually their best candidate, he supports much of the Republican agenda and actually gets stuff done - reminds me of McCain in some ways. Unfortunately, it's getting to the point where the damage Trump has done will be irreversible for their nomination. There's a chance Trump wouldn't be a disaster as president, it's not a position where I'd want someone with no experience and an ego like his, but if George W can survive as president maybe Trump isn't that bad?

The anti-Dem and anti-Rep crowd will always make it sound like we have the worst two candidates in history. That's never going to change. This isn't nearly as bad as it's being made to sound, or at least not significantly worse than any other election... but also don't expect it to get any better. Cheer up, and congrats on your privilege to vote.
