Whatever is in it. Most places have a standard brand across the board in there well.

well it varies depending upon the liquor
well is what you get if you don't specify; ie, gin and tonic vs tanqueray and tonic
    my current bar is this...
    vodka - smirnoff
    rum - bacardi
    gin - seagrams
    tequila - cuervo
    scotch - dewars
    bourbon - jim beam
    whiskey - seagrams
if you say bourbon and coke, you get jim beam
if you want jack and coke, you had better specify

Oh come on cbd, don't tell me I needed to use the sarcasm smiley.

Or as Robin Williams said in Good Will Hunting, " I was being ironical."

really shows you how fine a line success/failure is
tommy is the greatest dodger manager ever imo
some may say alston, but let's be honest...
not as tough when you're throwing koufax, drysdale, podres, osteen, et al out there back-to-back-to-back-to-back
no way that '88 team should have beaten the mets, let alone the a's
1-10 against the mets in the regular season in '88, outscored 18-49
but tommy knew how to get the most out of his players, especially when it counted most
tommy, two guys (hershiser and gibson) and a cast of "stuntmen" beat down the amazing mets and the mighty a's
i still remember it like it was yesterday
when the final out was recorded in oakland, i cried for the first time as an adult
    waiting to cry again
so yeah, i can forgive the neidenfuher/pedro mishaps...
    shit happens
just wish good shit would happen again

I'll have to disagree, respectfully, sir.

Alston didn't have those guys to trot out there in '55. Ok, he had Podres but there was no Koufax or Drysdale in their prime, There was Newc but he was almost done by '59. True, those teams had some fire-power in the offense but then so did the Yanks and Pale Hose. Tommy was a great personality and a good manager. Alston was a great manager.
