May be passe within the realm of history at this point in time, arguably, but Tulsa is the only place in the U.S. where American citizens dropped bombs on other American citizens. my sister lives there and an old farming partner moved there recently as it is 420 boomtown atm when the sister moved there it was because her micro b husband was enticed w grants and the cheap rent/benes there are some really nice places to live outside tornado alley and the people are basically necks but friendly if you have specific questions i can probably get something close to an answer
