sad stories man and really sorry you have history with both families life is short and we all know it… but it sure sucks when bad stuff happens there often seems to be no rhyme or reason and there’s certainly nothing i can tell you to make the pain go away we’re told it’s part of life and i guess it is i remember after both my parents passed hurt like hell of course but eventually i got through it… i mean, as best as i could and now i’m able to look back and be grateful — so grateful — that i had them both as my parents i still sometimes get sad and miss them and, weirdly, it’s the pain that makes me smile because that pain reaffirms how much they meant to me i didn’t mean to get all preachy or turn this into my experiences it’s just what worked and continues to work for me God bless brother
I appreciate you posting this huh?, as tough as it must be for you. Reading these accounts serve as valuable reminders of what's most important in life and to not sweat the small stuff. Like Irish, I always think about my dad too. One day he was the strongest, healthiest man I knew. The next he had Parkinson's and was never the same again. We need to appreciate every moment because we have no idea what awaits around that corner.

As self appointed film reporter, there's a film worth seeing that just came on HBO...it stars Brendan Gleeson, an actor I will always watch in anything hey in. It is "Calvary". Check it out.

Mind you, it's a film, not a series. Right now, as for a series, I'm into "Foundation" on Apple TV. It's SciFi, not everyone's cup of tea, but it doesn't insult your intelligence. Some better than usual writing for the genre.
