Living in denial ... hundreds of conversations tryingvto get her to sign docs. Sat her down with financial planners a dozen times since Dad died. It's like if she signs a document, it's tantamount to signing her own death warrant. Superstitious & neurotic. You gotta understand how malignant this Irish hypocrisy goes with our women. They go to Mass daily but privately, they're all witches. All she is missing is the cauldron & the eye of newt.

One of the last Navajo Code Talkers has died at 107. John Kinsel, Sr. The role they played in the Pacific theater of WW II was monumental. May he rest well now in The Star Clan.
Just passing on a suggestion for some light reading...lol..." Septenagarian Stew". Recently published, I believe. I've read lots of Bukowski in my day, but this one is the one I like he best. Chinaski at his best, imo. Maybe because my age group is in the title, Idk. But this is the top of the pops for me so far. The very first essay in the book says it all, and is closest to my heart. Thoughtful, reading at any age. Contemplative on every level, as usual. A real treat.
Oh. So it's downtime cheesecake days until Friday? Well I'm a Jeannie guy from way back. Still looking for that damn bottle.

Karen Valentine!!! Nice pull, Diablo. My classroom was 222 for three years. Nobody ever got my references to the show.
