Im high off a Dodgers win and im gonna talk about Magic The Gathering so I hope nobody minds. JD Vance plays it too and its probably why Trump picked him. I play Commander with my nephews and some dudes from the neighborhood. And yes, its as gay as it sounds but its also a community created format for the card game Magic. I never played it growing up for obvious reasons but some coworkers got me into it about 15 years ago. Now it is big business and has become the biggest cash cow for Hasbro. And its also one of the best investments. Its tiny and not heavy and is not hard to store. Its not crypto but its ink and paper cardboard. And the game has become the chess of our time. As a kid I loved the thrill of trading my lunch ticket for some quarters to buy a pack of cards at the ice cream truck so I could sell a good pull to a teacher for profits! Magic cards are the grown up version of that same scheme. The difference being so large that the aftermarket is its own stock exchange. One with no government oversight that operates similar to the way fine art works. And in a way it is art. Each card has artwork in which the artist is paid anywhere from 300 to 3000 dollars. Hasbro is making money hand over fist. Their investors are making money like crazy. The player base are creating increasing growing investment portfolios every time they build a new deck. And rich collectors and new celebrity fans are pumping up the value even more. I brought it up to you guys when it was still not considered a serious investment. But this thing is not only not stopping but its going harder than anyone expected. They are signing licenses with so many brands that new people will continue to flood the market for years. I keep my cards in tool chests. It impresses the nerds.

I've had great fun and times in NY...experience after experience over the years that I'll always cherish and have fond memories of. I always said if I had fuck you money, one of the places I'd have an apt. or whatever is Greenwich Village. Just felt comfortable and believe it or not, at peace when I was there. Positively 4th St., man... But if they made me a deal where I could have that, but I had to become a Yankee fan to get it...there's no way I could do it. Impossible. Not in this lifetime, anyway.
