    listened to a shit load of the guy for years
    one of the last of the old school literalists
    i appreciated how he stood his ground
    when most religious became milquetoast
    im not a literalist but i grew up one so i can respect it
    specially when it isnt evangelical scaremongering
    but a mans true wrestling with reason and understanding

    i disagree with him on some important doctrinal issues
    mostly doctrines made by men not god divine discipline
    but the fact that the man spits hot fire is not in dispute

    That's hilarious, as is his statement today that he's apologized to his family but that it was an invasion of his privacy. I mean, you can't make this shit up.

    Oh, and it gets better... the chick is married and head of HR at his company. Or should we say WAS head of HR. It's the old do as I say, not as I do.

    Lastly, Chris Martin said, "alright, cmon, you're ok." Then followed it with, "either they're shy or having an affair." Priceless!

    There's a similar BUSTED moment from my old school's booster club ...

    The year the Mighty Ducks played their first game at the Arrowhead Pond in Anaheim, SI featured an action shot of a Ducks player checking a Red Wing into the boards. Great picture --- two-page layout ... cool.

    Except that the Prez of Servite's booster club ( and an attorney who specialized in divorce) is at right behind the glass, with his arms wrapped around a big titted gal who wasn't his wife. Turns out he was supposed to be out of town.

    That issue of SI was sold out within hours of hitting the newsstands. The guy was an asshole anyway but I felt bad for his sons, who were 9th & 11th graders.

    Or the story of the guy who sued because the red light camera caught him running it, and the ticket with accompanying photo of him driving and a strange lady in the passenger seat was mailed to his house and opened by his wife.
