Which in my, some would say sociopathic and primal manner, brings to mind my never-ending desire for the bull to gore the matador. Always has, always will.
    Dang me.
Better get a rope and hang me.
Oh, and picadores...unfortunately the horse is in the way, but these savagely cruel fucks could use a good thigh or shin- long gore. You gotta be a really special piece of shit to want and perform the job of thrusting lances in a bull.

95 percent of people never grow up
adult children make for evil tyrants
    FDR loved his dog
    Hitler loved his too
    killer is killer
    bully is bully

    baalism is learned
    and its for old boys
    the colored red kind
    who have rubefacient skin
where the buffalo are the size of elephants
and the men warm their cheeks with fire

    ole!

    You like FDR?

Fala was the Scotty dog who was the friend and companion of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Fala was sometimes serious, Sometimes happy, Sometimes pleading And always charming. You will want to read about him in this book.

So went the jacket copy in 1942 for the first edition of The True Story of Fala, written by Margaret (Daisy) Suckley for her close friend and distant cousin Franklin Delano Roosevelt and celebrating the loveable Scotty dog she gave the president the dog that became FDR s constant companion at the White House, at press conferences, during meetings with ambassadors and heads of state, at home in Hyde Park, New York, on the yacht Potomac, and even aboard the HMS Prince of Wales when FDR had his first historic, and highly secret, meeting at sea with Winston Churchill during World War Two. Fala was the most famous dog of his time and maybe the most famous dog in all of American history.

Heading to Ohio tomorrow. Meeting up with the 15 yr old grandson and then off to Cooperstown on Tues.

Bucket list trip. Saw during the induction telecast today that the Rick Monday flag is now exhibited at the Hall.

I have a friend who is an atheist liberal progressive etc...
The type who always has to be a scold whenever i say something against her normie 'religion' of modernity.
By the same token she 'respects' that im a Christian and doesnt say how she 'really feels' out of 'respect' lol.
I explain to her what Jesus says about that type of respect.
She then goes into how she doesnt want to offend me and my 'imaginary friend'.
She says i indulge in fantasy thinking by believing in Jesus.

I have learned there is no use in arguing with people.
It is much better to agree.
And when you agree you are usually going to be right.
If you agree with the person fighting with you... then where is the fight?

So I said yeah, when i was a child and i was alone and i was in crisis an imaginary friend came to me in my mind and gave me hope.
And now I believe in that fantasy all of my life.

She thinks she is still in a fight so assumes she has won as it appears i have conceded the point.
Then i show her this video.

And i dont have to tell her much after that.
Hopefully she realized how entitled her life has been.

It was everything and then some. We went twice, the second time we took our time and saw some stuff we missed the first time around. It's a baseball junkie's wet dream.

    HAPPY MUTT DAY !
I've had multiples of pedigree and mutts alike, and my all time buddy dog was a mutt...but I loved them all.
I reached a point with my last mutt, emotionally and spiritually, that was above and beyond anything I ever experienced before.
Anyway, double treats or whatever today.
