    Kershaw's contract guarantees $7.5M this year, but he can more than double it based on games started and time active incentives. Pretty cool that he was agreeable to that. Shows he believes in his ability to stay healthy.

    i’m just grateful he chose to remain a dodger
    would have been real easy — and certainly understandable — had he chosen to play near home the final few years
    we are truly blessed to have had him in blue his entire career

    • The Dodgers haven’t openly conveyed their interest in Nolan Arenado, but they never said anything about Kirby Yates, Hyeseong Kim or Michael Conforto either.

    Ugh. About the most positive thing I can say is that he posts a negative WAR only every other year, and since he did that last season, maybe this will be an okay year for him.

    More realistically, he's likely just an insurance policy on our insurance policies.

    Saw that and actually like it. It's good IMO that not everyone keeps telling the Dodgers that they're going to cruise through next season.

    Wow...that's a new one on me.
    Used to tend bar for a gourmet restaurant in a riding club, and it really was well stocked with high end liquors and beers...never came across this.
    So much to try...so little time.
