I honestly don't think anyone is beating them. They are just too fucking good. Kinda why I am just not as invested in the team this season as I was last year since I fear the inevitable is coming.
Well this game sucks. Was kinda looking forward to it, but Boone has made some rookie mistakes in this one and trusted his guys too much. Talking heads tv will be great tomorrow.
Nathan Eovaldi is dealing against the Yankees, in Yankee Stadium, in the postseason. Never thought I would see that.
I hope Boston and Houston go the full seven and beat the ever living shit out of each other. And Bregman doesn't fool me ... that runt is a product of that little league park he plays 81+ games in. I wish Drysdale could be resurrected for one pitch- in his ear - then maybe he'd not be such a hotshot.
Maybe by the same team that cut his old friend Hanley Speaking of..whatever happened to Hanley with that drug trafficking case? That was insane
It was total BS. There was a lot of speculation from the start, but it was someone that wanted to drag Hanley down and their was no substantial evidence. Would guess that whoever it is, would regret it if it is anything longer than 2 years. He has not been able to really stay on the field and man is he up and down. He does a good job of limiting the damage, but it takes him a lot of pitches to not get very deep in games. maybe getting out of the AL and the AL East for that matter could really help him along.
I’d give him 4/52. As a 4th/5th starter with stuff that out the pen would make him a relief ace in the playoffs? Works for me
I took the bait and started watching Astros highlights in YouTube. Now I want to take a hostage. What a stadium full of mooks those people are ... I know the dimensions of Minute Maid Park are not that different from other stadiums to center and to the alleys, but that left field pull shot is a joke at 315 feet. Add that infernal railroad track and that air-horn they blast when the home team hits it out ... Judas, it makes me angrier than that insipid tomahawk chop in Atlanta. About the only thing more tedious is BEAT LA! ... Shouldn't get too far ahead of myself. I have that beer slide and the sausage racers to be pissed off at between now and next week.
I think Boston is going to advance. Now all we need is a meteor shower to hit both teams while they are on the field.
a friend of mine who’s a yankee fan summed it up pretty well before the wild card game... “probably the worst 100 win team in mlb history”
