got invited to hang out at the neighborhood Italian deli down the street to watch the game today. nice to watch it w other guys but its going to be the middle of lunch rush and its not exactly a lounge. two aisles lead to the drink fridges in the back where the tv hangs and also the end of the deli counter so the busiest area of the place for sure. have tried to get Giovanni to put a small bar in. even offered to do the work for beer but no chance. always hear "why would we want you assholess hanging out here" or something to that effect. but they do want us and go out of their way to extend invites. used to be a pretty good group and w guys like Davi hanging on occasion throwing back Peroni it would get quite animated. but he moved to FL and while still fun its not the same. getting spun around by customers and workers w a beer buzz has lost its appeal. was quite the spectacle though. maybe... def rooting for England w the family connection. if Argentina can lock down Jude Bellingham i think that will do it. that's a big if and he's been prolific this year. not golden boot prolific but right there and a knack for being in the right place at the right time. regardless i think the Spain defense is going to prevail overall. lot of talent on that squad. not sure if you've noticed Cuccarella but that guy is a straight up beast.
think i'm for Argentina as well now. helluva substitution in the second half going to all offense changed everything. brilliant.
