I don't remember what year it was... Maybe 2007? But I remember thinking one of those Detroit Tigers teams would have rivaled the Mariners regular season record. The lineup was so stacked

I know they're below .500 and 17 games behind the Dodgers in the standings, but the first five in the Pads' lineup has some serious pop.

    Yeah, indeed.
Hope the Dodger staff not named Ryu can handle them like he did.

I would join an investment group of thousands of people to put up even money on that bet. For some reason I don’t see Manny dogging it anymore if that bet was actually in place.

Taylor's AB might have been the worst in MLB history.
    Yeah.
    It was.

JT has had such a quiet year. Hitting around .300 is a good thing, but sometimes I have to think twice on whether he's even in the lineup.

He's probably losing a step but is still really good. .385 OBP, hitting .300, and the power comes in stretches.

Bellinger took the gauntlet as the anchor of the offense this season. Turner served his purpose as our most reliable hitter during the transition years.

    Would love to see it
A world class human being and the best pitcher I have ever seen
Would be a shame to see him retire without some redemption.
Game 5 pretty much tarnished his legacy. Before then, his postseason failures could be countered with plenty of good playoff starts against ATL, NYM, CHI, etc.
He pitched 7 shutout innings in game 1 of the WS. Then 4 more in game 7.
    But that game 5...

Just another game with a dumb ticky-tack defensive misstep that makes Kershaw unravel

    Way to go Austin.
Nothing like starting a rally with catcher's interference...

Sometimes I forget what a sharp single up the middle looks like. Way to go, Ratatouille.
