he has that hitch in his swing
i get that it’s his timing mechanism, but when he’s off it gives him little chance of making solid contact
one thing if you’re hitting into outs, quite another when you can’t even put the bat on the ball

Don't the Dodgers have batting coaches?
    Nah...what am I thinking ?

Is he playing right or second? I read he's going to be at 2B initially.

The bigger question is, will he lead off or will Dave see the obvious and leave TT at #1?

That was the thought initially. Apparently he's been throwing without pain from RF.

Scoring over 5 runs a game, just second to the Yankees in MLB.

Coaches are doing their jobs. It's up to the individual hitters to do theirs.

Betts playing right and batting leadoff, confirming that Roberts is oblivious.

At least TT is second, FF 3rd. Maybe this will work. I'd still like to see Mookie in more of an RBI slot.

    Belli sitting, Trayce in center.

cody and taylor on the pine
which eliminates (at least) 5-6 auto outs from the starting lineup
problem is when roberts has each of them pinch hit later with the game on the line…

My point was is anyone specifically working with Taylor to at least try and.improve his whiffing. It just keeps getting worse.
Totally aware of the 5+ runs per game, but 17 Ks in any game is a cause for some concern, imo.

    Trayce leaves the bases full.

I can understand starting him if Cody needs a rest day and CT is dinged up and that's all you have. I cannot understand batting him 7th and Lux 9th. I mean, we're talking an .067 BA vs .290. They're leagues apart.

Guess I'm 3000 miles away, but that effort by Thompson on the double looked less than heroic.

How long does a .160 hitter get to stay in the cleanup spot? August? Forever?
