    Dave treats playing teams like the Pirates like a holiday, a weekend juant. Sit your core guys, and give a guy the start just off the IL at a brand new position to boot. That's a formula for getting a real ugly surprise, and losing another game in the standings.
    I mean, does Lux look ready on any level to be in there? If he has to be in there, he has to. But, the idiocy lies in the fact that he doesn't have to...

    team can't play fundamental ball and he constantly micromanages
    first and second no one out in the first two innings and we come up empty

    That's exactly what Dave does, and the attitude trickles down on the team. How they win in spite of him is beyond me.

    Unless JT has an injury that we don't know of, there's no way he needed a rest day today. He just got back from a week off.
