Gutfeld made a point last night which I thought was excellent.
We all get the interviews with the cops, officials, parents, friends and neighbors, etc when some unbelievable shit like this happens. And this is a suicidal assholes reward for their dispicable actions...they've seen it for years.
Their perverse blaze of "glory".
But the one thing they don't show, I guess not to offend our delicate sensibilities, is the body cam of the fucking killer taking on lead to the head and consequently laying like a dead rat in a pool of blood.
Maybe if a potential would be mass murderer or two saw that on TV, just maybe they would just kill only themselves, instead of a bunch of little kids and innocents.
Never happen, but makes perfect sense to me.

This weekend, I watched the new doc on AmazonPrime - Reggie ... curious what you others here think if you watched it too.

Aside from the fact that I still hate that SOB, I did not think it was very good. It fluffs Reggie up beyond his actual fame. Yes, he was hot shit 50 years ago, and I have memories here of his histrionics and home run blasts. I remember his hip-shot between 1st and 2nd. I remember it all.

But overall, I took the virtue signaling of the entire piece for what it is - a no-longer relevant fading sports star trying desperately to grab hold of the current BLM aspects of wokeness in sports. He speaks of his experiences in minor league ball - along with Joe Rudi and Rollie Fingers NERVOUSLY affirming it in the doc - as if he were Jackie Robinson himself. I saw a sad old man who isn't as recognized now as more important athletes of his era - like Hank, Rose, & Clemente, or Walter Payton in football, or ,Magic, Bird, & Jordan in hoops. He's being forgotten, and he spends time trying to make himself more than he really was. It should be enough that he hit a shitload of homers before the roids era. Props for that (overlooking the short porch in RF at Yankee Stadium where he hit over 120 of those) ...

Or maybe I overanalyzed it. I may re-watch it later and see if it plays differently then.

Just listened to the swagger man without a plan mayor Adams of NYC tell us all that NYC is ready for any contingency that arises from Trump's indictment... as always is the case in Manhattan.
No mention of wild savages in the streets having shootouts, elderly and ethnic persons being cruelly beaten everywhere, brazen robberies with many accompanied by shootings, innocent children being hit and killed or wounded by gunfire, people being pushed off subway platforms, etc, etc., etc.
But NYers are safe from Trump.
Thank God.

Incredibly, this "trial"is supposed to be expedited to Jan '24 ( nothing happens in NY for a year or more...never ), exactly when he would start campaigning in the early states.
These motherfuckers have the deck stacked real well against him.
It's fucking nauseating to have to listen to hypocrisy like this from garbage like Bragg.
