I've been at my professional conference the last couple days and sat through numerous presentations, mostly financial but some on politics. One analyst made a well-supported argument that Harris would need a 5-7% lead in national average polls to win. That both Clinton and Biden didn't win states against DT where they had slight leads in polls going into the election. At least not this late in the cycle. Not saying it can't be done, but I believe where the polls stand right now would result in a Trump win.

about a week ago someone finally put up a trump poster, and the HOA immediately puts out a memo saying no political stuff until 30 days before the election
not surprising but still annoying
so i finally said fuck it and decided to wear my bright red “californian for trump” hat to golf here the other day and it was hilarious to see people in the community shy away like i had the plague
but it was worth it for the significantly greater amount of support i received
my favorite was one lady, who i would estimate was in the 70’s, who walked up to me and said “good for you”
hilarious still that even though the majority of homeowners are conservatives, the ones making all the noise — the angry ones — are the libs
and their message is clear…
