In future elections the Republican party needs to refuse to participate and give any legitimacy to these legacy media debates.
Missed opportunity for sure. But we cannot understate how hostile and rigged the environment was. This was not normal. The fact that he made it out of there alive without any catostrophic blunders is as close to a win as we were going to get. And, fwiw - the CNN and CBS post-debate focus groups, which included interviews with undecided voters, seemed to lean toward Trump because of the contrast in candidate records. Seems like this debate will be a net zero, especially after the emotion dies down in a couple days. MOE is probably 2-4 points here, but that's my point - no real movement.
Nice analysis by someone who isn't super partisan. Anyways, I'm done with the political theater. I hope some other "debate" format emerges in the future.
He often disappoints me. You know who doesn't? Untrustworthy & compromised people. Trump is a straight up asshole who still manages to get shit done. I've had a ton of bosses but the two most effective ones were ... well, assholes. But they got the job done. I've had three bosses I REALLY liked as people. One was in my wedding. All three can't hold a job and are dogshit at managing money & decisions. So what does it all mean? Fuck if I know. But yeah... Trump blew several opportunities to slit her throat. But so be it. Maybe it won't matter. Maybe it's all a show. Snake oil. A goat rodeo, as my old man used to say. I do know this- Kamala is a Maoist & she'll bring our republic down if she takes the big chair. Fuck her & hers if that happens.
Looking forward to seeing Matt Walsh's documentary, "Am I Racist?" this week. The Daily Wire usually makes really cringe movies and TV shows marketed to conservatives but Walsh's last doc, "What is a Woman?" was good.
My father used to say that you don't have to like someone to do business with them. Otherwise smart people who say "but I don't like him" as a reason not to vote for him deserve what they get if the Witch of the West is elected.
Yep... all truth. The worst part of "they get what they deserve" is WE GET HOSED too if that happens. Anyway, fifty-three days to D-Day, my friend. Question is - will you vote early or on the day of? There are arguments for either option. What are you planning to do?
We've been early voters for years. Matter of convenience. Have to admit I'd have more faith in the system if everyone had to go to the polls on election.
I get it. Convenience is a good thing but I also know/believe that the Dems favor prolonged voting like we have now because it is easier to manipulate. Also, they support extended deadlines on mail-ins, which I know/believe has already been used to decide local, state, and nationwide elections. So, there it is. I'll vote on election day myself, as will the wife. It's a small town and the polling place for us is a 5-minute walk away. At most, it'll take 10 minutes to make it to the front of the line. Easy enough.
Hugh is a badass. Like Dennis Praeger, I've listened to him for years, and I have called in twice to their respective radio programs and been on the air with a question. Hewitt punches hard with facts, so ... don't expect him to be on Bill Maher, ABC news, or MSNBC anytime soon.
That was good. Covered much of what I noticed right away - that the moderators fact checked Trump but not Harris, and they also didn't even once follow up to Harris that she didn't answer the question as they did to Trump.
not in my black neighborhood that shit gonna take hours thing about convenience is that its created for those already part of the covenant not for the unconverted so its pretty much always evil, no matter how easy it makes things seem
Well, in your neighborhood... it takes longer because there's not enough grape soda to keep the line moving ...
such a badass that he rewatched it and changed his mind completely lol more like someone got in his ear and said "what team are you on anyway" using the old cliche about the old cliche lol when neither of those cliches apply because this wasnt news it was a debate you dont need to wait for all the facts to come in over time the facts were all there during the debate if you left the debate thinking what you thought that was the truth anything after the fact is simply self preservation by salaried professional liars
dude i buy grape soda by the 3 liter bottle lol grape soda is great but i make an even better grape drink the house down the block has wine grapes growing out the wall in the alley and another house has these little sweet limes i put them in the blender like a savage with some water and then sieve the seeds and skins then put it back in the blender with some crushed ice and a little sugar and its great in the heat i should start selling it and put the grape soda outta bsuiness
I get your meaning, my friend. Except this isn't 1960, or 1980, nor 1992 nor 2016 .... It's social media age, and this debate WILL be sliced, diced, and julienned by both sides over the next 53 days. And her challenge for another debate only works if it's 1) on Fox or Newsmax and 2) unmoderated. And she'll never go for it, so I hope you enjoyed 'the debate' because it's likely the only one we'll get. Hewitt ia brilliant. Listen to him. You'd appreciate his ideas.
Never said it wasn't tasty. Just that 97% of those who drink it are black. And any store owner will tell you that. Ditto orange soda.
Could you imagine if Vivek ever publicly debated someone like Harris? I'd pay good money to see that. Hopefully some day... https://x.com/VivekGRamaswamy/status/1834052971753025868?t=17b_5GgAScFMoMzUScialw&s=19
im the wrong guy i didnt watch but 5 minutes of the debate havent watched fox or cnn or msnbc in at least a decade i literally have no idea what you are talking about the only part i watched was when trump couldnt answer what his plan for obamacare was she kept hitting him on that one a few times and he clearly was gonna just bullshit his way through it without answering he either has no plan yet or he knows the plan might be polarizing and doesnt want to reveal it before the election which kamala knows and is why she made it a point kamala is not dumb just like bush wasnt dumb trump should hire shane gillis to write him some lines for these type of situations they are actors putting on a show for the rubes to eat up you can believe me because unlike yall im not only a member but i was also born a rube
