    Teams like the Phillies, Red Sox, Yankees, Angels, Tigers, etc. not playing very well, some even sucking....idk...

    THe Fucking Orioles are .5 games behind us....it's fun being in first place but the good teams being good would make me feel better.

    Imaging having our SS, 1B and 3B filled by mere average and consistent players. a .270/.340/.400ish across the board. It really isn't that much to as for is it? Team is carrying too much dead weight.

    While the Dodgers may lead the National League West by six games and have the best record in the Senior Circuit at 21-11, manager Don Mattingly isn't surprised.​

    "I felt in the beginning of the season we'd have as good a chance as anybody to be in the thick of it. That's how I still look at it," Mattingly said. "The good start we got bought us a week of struggling. We're just grinding out games.​

    "We're not worrying about the next series or June or July. I'm a believer in what the guys can do as a group if they play their best baseball."​

    Los Angeles will take its NL best 13-3 home record into Saturday's contest against the Rockies at Chavez Ravine.​

    Right-hander Aaron Harang will be on the hill for the Dodgers, after getting a no-decision on Sunday against the Cubs. In that game, Harang lasted six innings, giving up two runs on seven hits for his third quality start of the season.​

    Meanwhile, Juan Nicasio will get the start for the Rockies, looking to rebound after his first loss of the season.​

    The right-hander surrendered six runs on eight hits in five innings of work against the Braves, falling to 2-1 with a 5.35 ERA.​

    "That's what happens when you don't have command of your fastball," Nicasio said after the start. "I missed the command of my fastball and I hung my breaking ball."​
