Cot's is a great site, I've used it for years, it's been absorbed by Baseball Prospectus. http://www.baseballprospectus.com/compensation/cots/ Don't look at it as wasted time, think of it as familiarizing yourself with the details that most of us won't be able to recall tomorrow. Right now I bet you have a better working knowledge of the contracts than 95% of the posters here, and 99% of the fan base as a whole.
