Going to the secondary site and playing everyday until he can get right. It more than likely wouldn't happen if he was getting MAYBE 1 AB a night with the big club.

Looks like Dodgers starting with 17 pitchers and 13 hitters: https://www.mlb.com/dodgers/roster

I don’t like the 17 pitchers but I guess the thought is you gotta see which of your relievers are gonna be able to stick as good high leverage options

doesn’t help that buehler, for whatever reason, isn’t yet in shape to go 6 innings or that gonsolin and may showed up late

I personally love having all the arms. Keeps the position players active and getting AB’s and more arms is always a good thing.

Agreed. The fewer bats that Davey has to platoon and otherwise tinker with (and want to keep happy), the better, in my opinion.

I find it humorous that our tallest pitcher (May) is almost our lightest, and our heaviest pitcher (Graterol) is almost our shortest.

There is however, a down side to this...a check and balance to that, if you will.
He now has more pitchers to tinker with and remove too soon or leave in too long.
The rule changes may even accentuate his meddling nature.

Barnes starts tonight, Enrique at 2B, Joc LF and Pollock DH

just one game and all but I’d prefer Taylor starting and who knows why Smith isn’t starting but apparently he’s gonna start 3 out of 5 games

    play ball
