Ok I didn't follow my prediction and am watching the game, lol. This Denver defense is challenging for the greatest performance by a unit in years!!!

Absurd how good Denver's defense. What a difference a defensive coordinator can make.

Not a great Super Bowl but one of the greatest defensive performances in Super Bowl history by Denver
Perfect way for Peyton to head out

My team handled the champs in their house once and should've beaten them the other time.

    Yes, I am bitter AF

One of the greatest defensive performances I've ever seen. Shutdown Big Ben, Brady, and Cam.

Denver is Oakland's biggest rival, but not going to lose much sleep honestly. Always liked Peyton and I appreciate what they did to New England. Plus, I don't know any Broncos fans thankfully. It bothers me a little, but whatever.

Athletes excel, athletes fail...the fans that follow them, the true fans, live and die with what they do and what they show..
When they fail, we moan about it all, because winning is the name of the game after all...at least it used to be. But even when we excoriate them for our disappointments, we know deep inside that they are just humans and being so, they will fail. It is inevitable that sometimes they will...really the only thing they have control of 100%, is their heart, even when their talent fails them, or other talent overshadows theirs.
But to see a player like Newton innately back away from a fumbled ball and omit himself from the fray, is just cowardly and cheap.
I'm sure many will defend him as "the franchise" and all that garbage...but I'll take Clayton Kershaw running out a bouncer to second base when he's losing the game.
    Any day.

Pouty Cam gettin a lot of shit from the media/former players for not tryin to get that fumble.
That's exactly what happened on that play tho, dude was too busy pouting.
And probably felt like it wasn't his fault " so why do I need to bust my ass ", the negatives of being selfish.
All great players are selfish, but that's pouty/selfish.." gonna take my ball and go home " type of shit, weak shit.
Then he runs out on the post game press conference early..at this point I have to believe that the guy is an idiot.
Tried to play the race card and then shy away from the attention afterwards, should've known better than that as well, especially with the Super Bowl coming.
I'm not sure if he'll ever get it because he's so good as a player that it's hard to assume that anybody can get through to him.

Now, here comes Romanowski calling Cam " boy " and taking heat off Cam. Lol
Another idiot, they deserve one another.
But if you take race out of it...Cam did act like a boy in that press conference, in other words he needed to man up.
But Romo is certainly a racist, so he's taking shit for saying it, don't know if he meant it that way there, but when you're a racist that's the position you put yourself in.

i think you nailed it on cam pouting
but he's got to be better in that situation
as @Bluezoo alluded, he has to go after that ball instinctively
leaders lead by example, and he failed big time on the grandest of stages for all to see
i don't like how he reacted at the press conference, but i kinda understand...
he essentially just blew the super bowl; a game he and his team had not only been expected to win, but dominate
so he's gonna be frustrated, disappointed, angry, definitely not in the mood to be there and (perhaps a bit) delusional
it's not fair to expect anyone to be polite or courteous following something like that...
that said, it comes with the territory and most other athletes can handle it
i think cam is still a bit immature
and i don't think this one performance is necessarily career condemning
we've seen the good side of him -- giving football after football to kids in the stands after a td
the foundation is there, he just needs to grow up a bit
the question remains can he and/or will he?
and i think your "have to assume nobody can get through to him" statement may be valid
    time will tell i guess

    on romanowski
i didn't see or hear the clip
but it depends on the context
if he said something like "he plays like a boy amongst men" then people need to back up and stfu
if however he said more inflammatory (as he's long been known to do), then go ahead and jump all over him
    guy is an asshat regardless
