    All in all I'll take this as a positive outing by Miller. Didn't let the early homers derail him and the key is no walks.

    Ohtani in a tie game innings 7-9 with a runner on, you can almost bank on a strikeout or ground ball to second. Just like that. But glad he stole his 40th earlier in the game - win or lose we'll get to read all about it later.

    I don't like Smith getting hit, but a couple games ago that was key in a late win. Repeat tonight?

    Also, is it odd that I'm relieved to see Edman, Rojas, Lux up here instead of Ohtani, Betts, Freeman?

    It's nice to see bb history being still made...aside for the obvious joy for Dodger fans with this result, there's always a pathway that exists for new superlatives in the game.
    That's why bb is the greatest game and remains so , even though so many in charge do their best to dilute it.
