Maddon's not the only guy out there that can pilot the Dodgers to a win, finally....there's other talented managerial stuff out in BB land for us to hire. That's , IMO, one of the problems with the Dodgers....they get stuck on a guy (like Colletti), waste years waiting for all his "potential" to come through and being us to the promised land, and year after year of zero is the result. And winning the division isn't that much of a problem. We deal with meltdowns of players, particularly kershaw, who just can't do it in the post. I don't know how you fix those types of monkies on our back...especially when the other teams , like you know who, get exactly the opposite from their players in the playoffs; big time.
We made the move, and why not go all the way and try a different approach from the Torre inspired tack they take now. For crissakes, we are getting old, and many changes are coming down the pike in player personnel-they have to because of the long teeth, let's face it. Are we going into a rebuilding phase now? How long are we going to get the production from key players as we do now...and the damn Giants are much younger than we are at many key spots if you compare.

 

if they did want to take advantage of the value that an aging Kemp/Gonzalez/Crawford have and rebuild around a new core led by say Stanton/Seager/Kershaw/Urias..would you have the patience to allow them to do it? or would you wanna run in circles with the current aging group of vets we have?

 

Doesn't matter a flyin' bucket of shit what I wanna do....it matters what they are gonna do. And , excuse me for the doom and gloom, (I call it stark reality), these "up and comers" are pretty much NOT going to be another Kemp or Gonzalez....Crawford's equal I can possibly see. Maybe.
And sure I see plenty of guys able to field better than Hanley too, but hit better than him? In this group down in the minors? No way in hell. Puig is a psycho in my opinion, and he is a crapshoot for the long haul, I believe right now. He may be supremely talented physically but he is also a fucking lunatic and a team problem waiting to happen. Lots of bad habits. Maybe he'll change...I doubt it. The 5th starter should be interesting. And there's just one very ugly fact (exquisite doom and gloom, mind you) : every fucking team out there has a better BP than the Dodgers. Ours plain out sucks.
And to answer your question directly, "no I don't have the patience. I've been waiting 26 years for this over rated conglomeration of pampered super stars and Yankee and Giant ex-stars to do something. And they haven't. They got the wrong GM (Ned) and they've got the wrong manager. period".
While the Giants are younger and have a great GM, and are putting championships away like kuggerands, we flounder like the Keystone Cops of baseball....which we are. 240 million. "Rebuilding" and "patience" after the highest payroll in MLB? Is that some joke or what?
And what does it matter what I'm willing or not willing to do as far as patience? Do you still believe magic worked his Twitter "magic"? Please...
They will get the asses in the seats no matter what this team does, and the money will just flow like blood from an open vein, but we won't die, we'll just go on and on. DBB will see to it.

he's regarded as the best in the game by execs and those that work within the game. namely..he's been branded as the " Clayton Kershaw of GMs "..and i know you'll somehow tie in the fact that Kershaw got beat a couple times in the playoffs and what not and ignore the MVP that he's about receive.
