Nobody around baseball would have considered taking Bumgarner over Kershaw a month ago but all of a sudden he can walk on water and is the better option going forward because of a month? And I'd love to hear the argument for building around Eli instead of Peyton. Maybe it's because Peyton and Kershaw have outperformed the other year after year and would put the franchise in the best position to win going forward. Is there really any debate?
i don't understand that either never have i get what @Bluezoo said in another thread, about it going back to the days when both teams played in new york my personal hatred of the yankees was limited to 1977, '78 and '81, when we played them in the world series i hated them for one reason only, because they were the opponent but that's no different than any team we play if you're a red sox fan, i get it but as a dodger fan, hating the yankees now makes no sense to me i don't think that's necessarily true at least not for all of us i understand the kersh/peyton over eli/madbum analogies, but i also think we'd be pretty shitty/bandwagon/disloyal fans if we were to do anything but support our guy history can have a short memory, and if the day comes where we vanquish the giants and win the series... it will be all we need and/or choose to remember now you're falling prey to what you despise no reason to hate all things LA because of a few opposing/irrational viewpoints and the agon thread was fine if it brings controversy/disdain, so be it if a dodger fan had created it, no one would have said squat don't change who you are

For the most part I don't mind FYouk. He brings a different perspective. He riles us up. But there's obviously some processing and grieving still going on here. You don't go to a funeral and say "To be fair, he did smoke two packs a day... so it was only a matter of time." And if you do, it's only safe to assume you will get some "fuck off"s.
