Into season 3 of Yellowstone ... this scene is why I kept watching. Cole Hauser just owns this character. I'm afraid he'll be typecast forever too .... I guarantee we all know at least one woman like Mia ...
rip is a great character would be easy for him to get typecast, especially with the dutton ranch spinoff looming but with so many streaming services making their own shows/movies it's a lot easier for actors to transition (no tranny) into different roles/characters i mean i don't necessarily see him going the leslie nielsen route, but i don't think he'll be bob denver 2.0 either and yeah mia is a piece of work lol
I haven't watched all of Sheridan's shows yet, but at some point I'm likely to. The Yellowstone universe has been great, including the prequels, and Landman is just as good. For series that are fictional, there's an air of authenticity in them that somehow makes them really relatable.
Landman, for most of the second season, left me flat. Like Billy Bob, but couldn't absolutely stand his wife and daughter...and BB's character kowtowing top them both with their whorish and egomaniacal personalities. They both look like they are headed for a change to come. I thought Sam Elliot , Andy Garcia and Sam's physical therapist who came on board late saved it, That 2nd season anyway. Demi Morre looks kind of.like a cadaver, sadly... and was distracting. BB had some blow your mind scenes scattered throughout, as only he can. I look for a stronger third season. All the otner ones are really entertaining.
Somehow I never saw Breakdown (1997) with Kurt Russell until last night. Loved it. Perfect 90 minute thriller. The first act especially reminded me of a Hitchcock film.
