showtime was crazy accurate about society
its not a wonder why the fans love the show but most the characters portrayed hate it
both think its about the lakers in the 80s
    but its not

its just a mirror for us today
    but colored black
you know, the forces own special FX company

the purple = "look at that poor nigger, thank you lord that i wasnt born a poor nigger"
the gold = "look around nigga, you a nigga, nigga"

may the schwartz be with you in your time of need

I started watching the new Larry David show. Seinfeld always was funny and for much of the time Curb Your Enthusiasm was engaging enough, albeit somewhat stale by the end. But at least for the most part he was able to keep personal politics out of the entertainment, save for the occasional jab here and there. I made it through all 12 seasons.

But in this new show - which if you're not familiar with it, it's the typical LD character leaving his mark in various American historical events - he cannot hide his TDS, and it completely ruins the show. This is no longer about entertainment - it's now a means for him to push his political agenda on others.

It's a shame that he sold out on his value as an entertainer. I turned it off in the middle of episode 2 and am now done with him forever.

I'm not surprised. That shit started creeping into Curb, too.

Yep. Me as well. Episode 2, 5 minutes in ... turned it off & that'll be it.

He's a parody of himself now.

Just pure emotion. Quality acting like this doesn't exist anymore.

i think the Shane Gillis show Tires is hysterical. the first couple of seasons were funny but the third has broken it open. love his flashback, dreamworld stuff and hope they hold it together going forward cause imo no way the world doesn't catch on to the show. definitely under the radar weird which i love. if i had one complaint it would be that its so short. went through the new season in a few hours. i think each show is 22 minutes. but the expressions, music and absurdity is of the highest level. thinking it has to appeal to this group of childish silly boys!
