just got back from the My morning jacket show
always respected the musicians in Jim James band but always loved the style of his guitarist and then i found this sick piece of music damn
this kid is so talented and just rocks the fuck out of his instrument
think he's from Indiana but the band MMJ is Kentucky boys

was great seeing my old friend Moss in SB so i guess i'm going back end of Sept for a couple of shows
Empire of the Sun is a fun psychedelic electronic duo out of Australia on 9/28 and Mac Demarco is a strange Canadian kid i've been wanting to see 9/29
can't believe this is 15 years old but it has been on more than a few of my playlists and always felt like a dream
the whole act is tongue in cheek over the top but never heard anyone see them live come back disappointed so 2 days it is!

RELUCTANTLY, I watched this movie with my kids on Netflix & it was actually pretty good. Decent themes, too. Damn Koreans make some decent movies, man.

 

the VA baby loves that movie and knows all the songs
train to busan is maybe the best zombie movie ever made and have you heard of Blackpink?
her daughter would watch them and it immediately got my attention
internationally massive yeah Koreans are tearing it up

 

i've got the gay trophy won going away!
not only did i watch lots of barney, sponge bob and every kids show known to man in the 90s
i also saw Bieber, NSYNC, Backstreet boys on and on in concert and you know something?
they were pretty entertaining!

 

And of course, Ken Jeong voices a character in this movie.

I was one of five people that bought TRANS back in 1983 ... shit album overall but it had a couple decent tunes. This reboot was one of them...

i saw him in the 1oth row at sbbowl and in June he was stricken
the band was incredible and he was so fucking happy the entire show
when he sang quicksand i screamed out as he sang "i'm living on" and he looked my direction w that huge Bowie smile
crazy thing is there's still all these songs that i hear for the first time...what an existence
completely grateful i was alive during his life and words really don't sum up what he meant to me any many others
i think its hard to grasp for those that haven't been exposed to his career after tin machine
Toy is an incredible album and Mark Plati is a not a name everyone knows but really should since he produces incredible things
Slicky was and always will be the chunk in Davids world
remember where i was when i heard this the first time
