makes you appreciate the production of the original and Quincy Jones
lots of these bands all over FB and touring like that band Irish posted a while back
went and saw them live and it sounded as good as the original
some great Steely Dan cover bands in LA alone
the proliferation of them makes me think its pretty lucrative beyond the love for the music

Jimmy Sakurai who was originally in Led Zepagain who plays Agoura hills all the time
they've got a new guitarist obviously but yeah its pretty fun!
new guy is Thymiakos and i think i like him better when it comes to Jimmy clones

Previous tour he was basically a cardboard cut out propped on the side of the stage
Figured he was sick and getting a last bow
Gabrels is a ridiculous upgrade obviously
    RIP senor

How bout some venezuelan music so you can remember where Rock n Roll comes from in La Vina del Mar.

Twist and Shout is the same song as La Bamba and they are both based off an old folksong from the revolution.
La Cucaracha who needs some more Marijuana to continue the fight.

Btw, i know this is not Venezuelan but Mexican.
But i will have you know that up and down the Americas it was the rally to fight.
And that the Mexican flag symbols are all fake except the snake.
They are visual code for the college impaired during a time of manumission.
For those who read nagua instead of the language for the birds.
That eagle aint no fancy eagle.
And that nopal aint no cactus.
But it is green before you light it.
Do you see where its dropping branch upon branch to make it cushy?
Or are you forever to be a prickly pear?

That's badass. Mine was Seger, who I know isn't your favorite.

Never seen Frampton. Wish I had.

Lee Michaels and Ike and Tina Turner Revue. Odd pairing, but a great show.

mine was also an odd pairing
    yes and donovan
most of the stoner/hippies there were saying things like “who’s donovan” or “is that the mellow yellow guy” before it started
three encores later they knew who he was

I remember a Lynyrd Skynyrd-Kinks pairing many moons ago.

Of course the strangest all time was the Monkees-Jimi Hendrix.
