here's the deal photobucket's free program allows not only a limited amount of monthly storage, but also limited bandwidth my bandwidth exceeded it's 10G amount so it shut me down for the month the good news; the monthly cycle goes from whatever date [day] you signed up my anniversary date is the 20th, so hopefully everything will be back to normal come 11/21 to make sure this doesn't happen again, i will use this account only for smileys from now on i'm using another image hosting site for the other shit so rejoice bkitches!
not just the smileys other stuff too cumulative but i will be going through the smileys and deleting the ones that aren't/rarely used
Other concern I have about the site Is there anyway you can change it so we can embed videos that aren't from YouTube or the other options? Cause there's only limited options and if it's from like vine or something can't even embed it
I've added vine. If there are other sites you'd like I can add them, but there's no easy way to set it up to let you embed from any site.
I never use smileys or inbed things (don't know how...it never worked when I try), and yet I am punished like everyone else? Is this fair? The innocent suffer along with the guilty? What kind of world is DSP anyway?
yes, yes! and the shameless hacks pose as monopoly capitalists and... wait, where was i going with this?
You should be able to store them local at DSP. Although, if you're using 10G a month, we might have problems with our provider too.
apparently it uses bandwidth every time a smiley is used (which is pretty lame) there's a lot of seldom used smileys that i can shit can plus i won't add any other images etc which take a lot of space
Yes, every individual page load from every client at DSP goes to photobucket to get them. File size of smiley * number of smileys on page * page loads = BW used. Very easy to get up to a very high number that way. It's probably better to host them here if you can.
