I'd prefer a salary cap, much like the NFLs, where teams have to spend a minimum of 95% of the salary cap every single year I doubt that happens because the MLBPA should never accept a salary cap system unless the owners for legally required to open up the entirety of their books so MLBPA can see how much money is actually being made But owners will never open up their books so there will never be a salary cap
