I'd even go as far as to say that if the pitcher or catcher was tipping signs to the dugout, and the dugout banged garbage cans to inform the batter, that'd be acceptable.

The Asterisks had a camera in center trained on the catcher, and that's way way way over the line of fair play, as well as extremely dickish, and was egregious enough that the commissioner should've taken away the championship.

Outfielder Harrison Bader could play in Monday's Game 2 for the Philadelphia Phillies after leaving Saturday's National League Division Series opener with a groin injury. Phillies manager Rob Thomson said Sunday that imaging showed no major tear or strain in Bader's groin. Thomson said the Phillies would have a better idea on Monday if Bader, who settled center field and morphed into a fan favorite down the stretch, could start or at least be used as a pinch hitter Monday night against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

"I think after the game they stretched him out, got him moving around a little bit," Thomson said, a day after his club dropped Game 1. "I think he felt a lot better after that."

Bader made one of the Game 1 plays of the game when he sprinted to his left on Andy Pages' tying shot in the fifth inning and made the diving grab for the out. Bader, who added a sacrifice fly, said he felt tightness later in the game running the bases.

"This is kind of the point in the season where you just empty the tank," Bader said after the game.

Should Bader miss Game 2, Nick Castellanos likely would return to the starting lineup in right field, with Brandon Marsh in center field and Max Kepler in right.

Just to elaborate a little on Pages possibly relaying pitches. If he did it that blatantly it's a good way to the hitter killed if he's wrong or if the opposition drills the hitter out of spite.

hilarious that phillie fans keep whining that it’s unfair because the dodgers are spending so much more than them…

Agreed, and yet it's a small consolation, but 24 pitches in the first get us that much closer to the Phillies pen.

But yeah, we need Ohtani to start hitting.

not scoring in the first will come back to haunt us
had luzardo on his he ropes and even one run would have given him/the phils doubts
but now he’s settled down and our offense is flailing
snell dealing but our bullpen can’t wait to get in there and shit the bed
blake will give up an unearned run and lose 9-2 when the pen implodes
