Dodger Stadium has turned into a fucking morgue...they have seen the face of death lurking.
And it is in the bullpen.

He was shaky at first but the other batters saw that warlock shit he throws.

    Keep it up, Blake.

Treinen looked great! I'm happy about the win. But...

The way that 8th inning went was a favor to the Reds for the remainder of this series. There were only two relievers that Roberts should've considered to start that inning. Either Scott, and you leave him there to get three outs unless they score 5, or you go to Wrobleski for the final two innings and preserve the remainder of the pen. Reds got a good sneak peak, and if tomorrow is a close loss and Thursday is close, some of these guys will not be available. Just idiocy at its finest from the "manager."

    Cannot blame Dave whatsoever
The players and Andrew Friedman own the shitty ass bullpen
WTF is he supposed to do?
He put our best guy, Vesia, in and he shit the bed
The BP completely sucked all the joy our from the victory
I do not see any path to a WS win with this bullpen

Roberts said Will Smith could potentially start Game 2.

“The hitting, the throwing, he feels really good about. So I think it’s a day-to-day thing. So I’m not closing the door that he’s not gonna start tomorrow.”

Damn shame the bullpen shitting the bed has a way of overshadowing a great performance otherwise.

Let's look at the good. They hammered one of the best young arms in the game. Teo gets the headline with the 3 run bomb, but the two patient walks (Freddie and Max) were just as important. Sho's leadoff HR let the Reds and Greene know the Dodgers weren't to be fucked with. Got contributions 1-9 in the lineup and added on late in the game.

More good.........Snell. Master class in pitching, emphasis on pitching. Don't need 100 mph to get outs (and Ks).

Henriquez might have pitched himself off the roster for the next series (if they make it). Totally clueless. Had that Tanner Scott "what the fuck am I doing out here" look on his face.

Treinen didn't exactly instill confidence, throwing the first pitch to the backstop and going 3-1 to the #9 hitter. But he settled down and had a good inning, no harm, no foul bloop single aside. Dean didn't exactly have the look of a defensive replacement there.

Thinking the postseason recipe will have to be getting 7 strong from the starters, score a shit load of runs and hold on to your ass as the bullpen attempts to get the final six outs.

I didn't see it as that big an affront. Not a Matt Barnes fan at all. There's a reason he played for every team in the NBA.

    Well handled by Strawberry, though.

A similar thing happened to the Yankees yesterday.
Spectacular performance by Fried, even better than Snall's ( which was hard to do ), and when the bp came in, the game deteriorated into a loss.
I guess if this is any indication, the O is gonna have to score 10 a night.

Agree. Without 10 runs per game, every game ... this bullpen will undo this team.

“If we’re fortunate enough, he’ll be on the DS roster, yes.”
    - Roberts, asked if Kershaw would be on the NLDS roster

You beat me to it. I was just typing it up and going to note that Smith isn't in it. Just Rojas in for Edmond.
