Roberts and the trash ass offense lost this game
Ohtani should’ve been done after 6
Dryer is a better fucking pitcher than Banda and dum dum needs to realize it
Treinen needs to get the fuck off the roster

Knew the game was over when Roberts brought Banda in with guys on 2nd & 3rd with nobody out
Figured, at best, Banda would give up the two on base but thought he would give up a couple more of his own too
Gotta let Shohei try to work out of it there
    He was our best option

The offense has been absolute shit this entire postseason
    Mookie is Dookie
    Free-man has been enslaved
Edman is a bigger negative than positive at 2b - move him to CF, if his ankle falls off so be it
    Kike has been stink-ke
Pages has no business playing other than as late-game defensive sub

The Blue Jays have been the better team throughout the series
we are lucky this series is tied 2-2
Every game feels like an absolute struggle

The position players better take some ayahuasca or some shit to get their minds right

Snell needs to go a minimum of 8 scoreless tomorrow for us to have a chance
If we are lucky we will have a 1-0 lead going into the 9th

super weird night as my friends son came and then tripped and broke his jaw and went to emergency
in the madness i found myself and my daughter in an elevator w Magic and Cookie for a minute
fist bump and quick words about what a 7 game series is and i met one of my heroes without being a dick
everyone else was frozen on the elevator and Cookie was so cool
hoping the kid is ok and we can grind out this WS

The biggest disappointment to me has been Mookie. You can’t even use your illness in the beginning of the season as an excuse anymore. He’s supposed to be right up there with Shohei in terms of production but at this point he has been a bottom-of-the-order type player.

News flash.......Shohei is human. Appeared the 18 inning game might have taken a toll on him although what a Dodger starter does on the mound doesn't mean dick if the lineup continues to flounder.

Too many (Mookie, Kike, Edman, Pages and Muncy) are having a subpar series. Sho, Freddie, Teo and Will can't make up for that. Send Call up for Pages and he watches three strikes go by. Why they got this guy and not Bader or Laurenco I'll never know.

Really missed Vesia last night. He likely would have been brought in where Banda was last night. Although once again it didn't matter because the hitters took the night off. Treinen......no mas, por favor.

No one should be surprised that Toronto bounced back despite missing Springer. That's a deep lineup top to bottom. Can't remember the last time the Dodgers had an AB like Gimenez did against Banda last night. Instead of swinging out of his ass, he calmly stroked the ball to LF.

I remember when Dodgers had both Mookie and Trea at the top of the lineup, I observed a key difference between the two. While by the end of the season they both had good stats, they took different routes to get there. Turner was consistent. Seemed like he always had a double-digit hit streak going, and when it ended he'd immediately start a new one. Mookie was very streaky -- ice cold for a while, then would go on a tear and absolutely carry the offense for a spell. That's been his M.O. since he joined the team, although sadly 2025 has had longer cold periods than previous seasons. He got hot in September and that carried through the wildcard series, but unfortunately that run is over and now he's essentially a rally blocker hitting behind Ohtani, and I'm not holding my breath that it will change over the next 2-3 games.

As I said yesterday, the fact that we as fans can see these trends, but Roberts doesn't (or chooses to ignore them) just boggles my mind.

Shohei has had his rough stretches, but it doesn't help when the hitter before him (Pages) or the one after him (Mookie) have gone MIA.

I know I'm aging myself here, but does anyone remember the board game stratego? If Roberts were playing, I could see him setting up with his marshall in the front row (if not his flag as well).

He's left Shohei exposed and unprotected in the lineup. The guy is a terrible manager because he takes so long to react. Now he's hinting that the lineup may have a different look tonight... we'll see, but why did it take this long?

Mookie, offensively, in his postseason career, performs at a very average level
    With 407 PA's, he has produced a .749 OPS
This year, he's been barely above a replacement level player
The Dodgers, going forward, cannot act like he is some special or even above average player in the post
    He just isn't
Mookie belongs in the bottom half of a postseason lineup, on any team

    call starting over pages
    great, that’ll solve everything davey
equally inept hitter and you’ve weakened the defense
btw there’s this guy on the bench that you’ve apparently forgotten named kim
not that he alone would solve the problem
mookie’s inept pop outs and everyone else swinging for the fences is killing us
jays play team ball and that’s way there’s often people on base when someone else gets a hit or goes deep
we have more talent, but toronto is a better team, they’re better coached (managed), and they’re clearly hungrier
seemed to me like the dodgers expected the jays to lie down yesterday the day after the 18 inning defeat
    they were wrong
btw, the only reason tuesday’s game went 18 is because our impotent hitters couldn’t hit the dregs of the jays bullpen
rest assured if cheater springer and kirk had still been in the lineup that game would have ended much sooner
the better team deserves to be champions
the other team is the dodgers

I do not believe the Dodgers expected the Jays to lay down
The Jays are just the better team

    I like Will batting 2nd
I like Freddie at 4 and Muncy at 7 so Schneider has to actually think about when he should bring in his LHP
I like Call over Pages - I expect Call to produce at least a couple good AB's throughout a full game
I would prefer Teo batting 3 and Mookie at 5
