Well, I'm a film/TV guy, and the respective histories, always have been...so an entertainment thread, if you want to keep it all neat and orderly, I vote yea.
    Or yay!
Could actually post the music clips there, too. They seem pretty popular.
I remember when it was just Diablo and me posting back and forth about "Breaking Bad", which my kid initially told me about, and in no time, on here, it was a runaway hit.
    So to speak.

was actually just coming in here to see if anyone has been watching, it's very good. I like how it hasn't really simply focused on "Who did it?!" but it's interesting to see more of the process of everyone involved so to speak.

How good is John Tuturro, though? Guy has got it down pat...
And the scene with the detective and the maps and phone records was good movie making, too.

I did! Watched part 5 on Sunday
The acting on everyone's part is amazing. The suspense continues to build with each episode and each episode presents more doubt in the audience about Nas' innocence.

Box seems like a good detective who cares about the truth but the DA just wants to close the case which makes it uncertain how it will play out.

It was either episode 4 or 5 but I found it ironic that Nas had two choices: the plea deal and the deal from Freddy. He took the latter one and the camera panned up to the smoke which could be a metaphor for his choice making his life go up in smoke? Idk but awesome show

how fucking good is Michael K. Williams? (Freddy). I'm a Wire fanboy but man, a role that seems basic in many senses... Just a typical criminal who has a hold of the entire prison. But he plays it so complex and I have no idea if I should like him, hate him, fear him, love him, or anything.

I'm not sure, but in the last episode, I thought I might have seen that one of the producers was somebody Gandolfini...don't know if it was James.
I guess it could be, as I don't know how long this series has been in the can.
How ironic it it were, and kinda sad, too.

Yeah he's a producer and also he was suppose to appear in the show. He had Turturro's role actually. He filmed a bit of it but then sadly passed away so they put the thing on hold and re-cast. Still included as a producer cause he was involved in the producing early on

Wow...that is sad...thanks for the info.
When someone nails a role, like Turturro is, you can't imagine anyone else on it.
But Gandolfini would have been great, too, I think.
It's not like Robert Blake as the original Ratso Rizzo.

    The Night Of Part 6

So with two episodes left I'm completely mindfucked about who did it. Everyones a suspect at this point lol
Sad to see Nas ruining his life in the pen. But then again its probably because he feels like he has to if he wants to survive
Happy to see Stone's eczema clear up tho lol.

Wish there was like 10 episodes. If anything these next two episodes will be exciting as they reveal a lot of information and help close the case

SPOILER....I can't find where the spoiler button is!
You got this out ahead of me, BG.
I was like "what? Two episodes left? Shit just started"! Not crazy about the British formula of 6 or so episodes and then waiting, waiting. As you wrote, 10 is cool.
Great show...acting is superb. Each episode I say to myself he or she is excellent, too.
I would ask one question though ( it's getting past me, obviously) :
When Stone leaves the apartment, he says " I'm going out" to someone... to who?
The cat? Someone I missed who puts "Dwight Gooden" on the door?

    Yeah me too.
Theres a lot of ways they can go that make sense, and I wouldn't really be mad any way they go with it. They've set it up perfectly that they can do wtv they want and it's true to the characters or to the story. I can't get it out of my head that it was Trevor's friend. You don't show a guy like that, purposely have Trevor hide him, for no reason. Maybe he was ordered to do it or part of a drug deal gone bad or something. Just think he has to be involved somehow cause it makes sense on focusing on Trevor and him hiding him.

I couldnt find the spoiler text either. But you just put [ spoiler] before the text you want to hide and then [/ spoiler] afterwards. No spaces though.
I went back trying to find the scene when Stone left the apartment to pick up on anything but couldnt find it. I'll look again in a bit.
But as I was skipping through the episode...Almost forgot about the milf at the end in the gym. She might be passed 'milf' status but i dont even care
She had a helluva rack. I'd pipe it up so quick tbh

True, they can definitely go a number of ways. Every suspect they have introduced presents a plausible case of being the actual killer.
Duane definitely seems like he has a role larger than what has been shown. He may be connected in a way to Freddie. Perhaps being the one who catches bodies for Freddy or something. Who knows, maybe Freddy operates some drug business. Andrea didnt pay up. Orders a hit cause whats another body on him or because Duane didnt wanna be short when paying Freddy. Duane sees Andrea (remember the look he had--i originally thought it was towards Nas but it could have been towards Andrea), recognizes her, and kills her.

Something like that could have occurred, But tbh I have so many questions that Im just hoping HBO wraps up everything for the finale.

    For instance,
    1) What will happen to Nas? This will for sure be answered, legally at least. But I want to know how he will be affected short term and long term from a sentence or acquittal. He seems like he will be changed forever. 2) Who was the mysterious biker that we saw right before Nas got pulled over? Was it the stepfather who may have committed, witnessed, or set up the murder? 3) Is Stones eczema gone permanently and if so was it really the alternative medicine? 4) The trevor/duane angle. Especially if Duane didnt do it, then how did they tie into it. 5) What did Nas' mom take from his room before the cops came. She came up on some condoms but she left them there. Was there anything she took? 6) The deer in the room. I know its more than likely just a literary device. But its creepy af and Im curious if theres a backstory or significance to it and the murder. 7) What happens to the cat. Low key I wanna see if the cat witnessed anything. 8) Did Andrea really know she was finna die. She mentioned she cant be alone so idk. 9) The knife still being downstairs. Was there a second murder weapon? 10) Will Nas ever remember everything that happened? He gets vague and brief flashbacks but will something trigger him to recall the entire night? 11) What happens to Freddie? 12) How will this affect Stones career

Obviously some of these questions are more important than the others. If some of the lesser important ones arent answered its all good but I would like to see as many of these answered in the next two episodes as possible.
